Welcome back to another week of Planet Britney, where we summarize all things Britney related from last week into one easy and simple post, perfect for those of you who just simply do not have the time to catch up on Britney news every single day.

SOUNDTRACKS AND FLASHBACKS!

Seems like April is the month of iconic moments for our very own Ms Spears! Let’s take a look back at some amazing milestones reached over the last week.

Firstly we start off with one of the most famous magazine covers of all time. It has been 17 years since the release of Britney’s first ever Rolling Stones masterpiece.

This photo shoot is timeless – we get just as excited about this shoot today as we did when it was first released. We have our very own personal copy in a very safe place and is still one of our favourite covers of all time! It does however seem that we are not the only ones! The cover has been referenced by many celebs over the years from Rita Ora to most recently Tinashe:

We love it! Sometimes also turned 17 years today! Britney’s second single has left us feeling super nostalgic this week:

Britney’s ‘For The Record’ DVD was released 7 years ago this week!

And last but not least, Curious: In Control turns 10!

So many epic milestones and so many more to come…

POM IS BACK!

After a short beach break with her family – ‘Piece Of Me’ is back in full swing! Britney slayed, but did you expect any less?

This week’s coverage was extra special as one of our very own, Ant was there:

Just have a look at how flawless this meet and greet was! Definitely framing this for our Head Quarters! Ant is having a blast and we are so jealous! Some of us were stuck doing office work...sigh.

Talking Vegas, AJ McLean took to the press about his recent ‘Piece Of Me’ visit…

McLean, 38, who took in Spears’
Piece of Me
show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on February 26, told
Us
: “Her body’s back! She looks fantastic! Britney’s back, man.”

Not only was the “I Want It That Way” singer impressed by Spears’ slim frame, he was blown away by the superstar’s live performance.

“She’s doing fantastic, dude. She was on her A game. She looked good, she sounded good,” McLean added. “She was killing it dancing. Britney showed us around. It was just awesome. It’s a great show.”

After being wowed by Spears in Sin City, McLean tells
Us
that he is now more excited than ever for his 9-show Las Vegas residency with the Backstreet Boys, which kicks off in January 2017.

“Britney’s show is phenomenal. She’s an old friend. So it was nice to see her up there doing her thing,” the boy bander added. “It’s going to be fun. Plus, it will be nice having a family now, being stationary and not traveling as much.”

What a legend! Great to see you had fun AJ, we look forward to catching your show in Vegas soon! After Britney finished up her Vegas gigs this week, she attended some early celebrations for Bryan's Birthday:

Look at the amount of crawfish! Looks Yummy! And look at those T-Shirts! This family is just perfect!

CLOUD 9

It is all finally falling into place – era 9 is on it’s way! Thanks to Robin Leach, we now have a lot more info! Brace yourself, we are only a month away from new music! Here’s all the deets!

Fans of pop princess Britney Spears around the world can breathe a collective sigh of relief today that she’s finally decided on her new single.
I can reliably confirm that it will be titled, “Make Me (Oooh).”

Britney will shoot the video for her new single next Monday, and both will be released four weeks later when editing is completed. I was told, “The concept for the video is all set.

“The single and the video will thrill fans because it’s all new, totally different and somewhat unexpected. It’s different; it’s a turn. She’s gone from pretty straight-forward pop to a really interesting vibe with a lot of really cool stuff.”

If all goes as planned,
Britney’s new ninth studio album will follow one month after the single’s release.
Britney has said: “I just know that the direction I’m going in is so good. It’s the best thing I’ve done in a long time.

“I’m just particular with this record — it’s my baby. I’m proud of the work, and it’s very different. It’s not what you would think at all. I’m not rushing anything. I would much rather have it be completely how I want it to be. I just want it to be done right so that my fans will truly appreciate it.”

Meantime,
British tabloid reports that she will appear in a London Palladium “Cinderella” show in the British capital for five weeks over Christmas are being officially denied by her team.

“It’s simply not happening, and we haven’t even been approached with an offer,” I was told. Britney is expected to continue her hit residency “Britney: Piece of Me” at Axis at Planet Hollywood over Christmas and New Year’s as she did last year.

Britney’s new single “Make Me (Oooh)” will be added to “Piece of Me” at Axis when the next segment of her residency resumes June 17. Her current run wraps April 22.

DEAD! We are so excited, we actually have no words to explain our emotions! Rumour has it that Britney will be performing at the Billboard music awards for the second year in a row!

BRITNEY’S INVITE: Producers of the 2016 Billboard Music Awards are hoping to land Planet Hollywood headliner Britney Spears for their ABC telecast from the new T-Mobile Arena on May 22 so that she can debut her new single, “Make Me (Oooh).”

But there are a lot of logistics and times to be resolved before any final decision, so the official status as of today is “nothing can be confirmed or denied at this time.” Producers are trying to adjust telecast plans in an effort to figure out a way for Britney to attend and perform.

Could B9 be everything we were looking for and more?? We actually cannot wait!

Artists are flocking up to work with Queen B, from Bebe Rexah:

To Meghan Trainor:

“It’s funny, because during the time when I was writing [these songs], I met with Britney randomly,” Meghan told Digital Spy.

“I was in LA Reid’s office and Britney’s people who are working with her now came in and met me. I was like, ‘Should I? Should I write for Britney Spears right now?’

“I was so crazy busy, but I was like, ‘Hey, if you guys ever want help or need an extra writer, I’m so down.’

“She’s the reason why I’m a singer. That was the first album I ever had.”

Is there still time to add a few tracks to the album? Could these 2 divas make the cut? We will have to wait and see. One person that seems to have made the cut already is CJ Baran if his record label is anything to go by. Have a look at is site, where his association is confirmed!

We need a brown paper bag, the struggle to breathe normally is real…

That is all for this week y’all. We will leave you with the video to Sometimes. With over 62 million views, could we make this the second 90’s Britney video to be VEVO certified?

Till next week!
