Beyonce is doing it with the lead single from her coming album on primetime and I think is pretty smart.
I really miss when musicians used to premiere their mv on TV   
 

I think it would be amazing seeing her doing a cameo on a popular TV serie and premiere the mv before/after the episode.

Beyonce's thing is a movie, though. I believe it's a 'movie' made up of all the videos from her new album. For a regular music video, there aren't really shows to premiere on anymore. Like, what is she gonna do... The Voice? She used X Factor to preview S&S when it was still on, but now it's not like there's a TRL to go to. Maybe the Billboard Awards or VMAs like Taylor did. I'd be here for that

It'd be great for the publicity, but the MV on youtube needs to get all the attention since the streaming points are incredibly important, so maybe they could premier half of the video and say something like "check the full thing on vevo". Whether they like Britney or not people will still check the full thing out because everyone hates unfinished stuff

I think they should do an online premiere because = everyone around the world would be able to watch it, share etc. = larger scale audience/impact

 

If she's gonna do a TV one, they should slot in between top-rating tv shows but that wouldn't have much impact as premiering online imo.
