TheCharmedTributes1 Posted April 25, 2016 #1 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Hey guys! I just wanted to vent out for a bit... It seems like the new Britney era is coming soon, although nothing is officially confirmed, and it feels like there is much more negativity about it - not just in GP, which is understandable, but among fans too. And I usually don't pay attention to it, but it's hard seeing everybody doubting Britney and saying she's done or she's a has-been and similar. It kind of kills my excitement. I know it's probably an after effect of Britney Jean and Pretty Girls but still... Do any of you feel the same way? And my thinking about upcoming era: I really think that Britney is fully prepared this time. She only needs to promote it properly and continue to show her interest for it. Everything about her lately is amazing - her body, her personality, happiness... Everything. And I love it. But most of everything I want her to be happy. With who she is and with where she is at this moment in her life. What do you think about this upcoming album? That's all, folks! 2

mslove101 Posted April 25, 2016 #3 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Britney and/or her team has dropped the ball with every era since Britney if we get a truly flawless era like Britney, oops, bomt then she can get her crown back b/c the gp gave up on "old" Britney during ff and isnt here for "new" Britney anymore...she is finally in a place where she can slay and be appreciated for that slayage b/c both fans and the gp are aware of how far she fell personally and professionally as a performer and musician ...she doesn't need to promote like her 21 year old self but she will definitely have to do more promo then she ever has since her comeback and all of that has to be phenomenal...no awkwardney, no stiffney, no halfassney, and no same five answers bullshit ..if Britney and her team pulls this off this can be her year and the beginning of a new prime for her unlike the bj era the public misses her this time...so ppl are ready for her and she finally seems ready to pick up where she left off so many years ago and I'm proud of her I just hope she's done with her gay/girls only songs and focus on being an artist that everyone can appreciate...she became cool again with scream and shout just to ruin it with oh la la, work bitch, perfume, and pretty girls 3
JocastaIsYoMama Posted April 25, 2016 #4 Report Posted April 25, 2016 There is no negativity from the GP. The negativity is from bored trolls on the forums. Just ignore it, boo, and enjoy the new music when it comes 8

JocastaIsYoMama Posted April 25, 2016 #7 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Trying to! Seriously tho, it's the bored trolls here who think they know everything that claim Britney is flopping / going to flop. She had ONE under-performing album and they say she hasn't had a proper era since 2001 BJ was a bad album with no promotion and it still sold more some albums that people consider a success. PG, again, was a bad song with a featured artist that the GP hated. Britney's track record is, for the most part, impeccable. The GP has already forgotten Pretty Girls and they never knew about BJ in the first place ( ). All Britney needs is a great lead single and she'll be fine. 3
JoshLee Posted April 25, 2016 #8 Report Posted April 25, 2016 It's just waiting for music Positivity will come when music is released. It's probably just confusion from insiders and stuff 2
BlackoutEgo Posted April 25, 2016 #9 Report Posted April 25, 2016 I've actually haven't seen any negativity coming from the GP tbqh but I do however think that it's very possible for Britney to be on top again. She just had 1 flop era so there's still a chance. The thing is after coming from a flop era Britney's going to have to pull it together & promote the shit out of this album & kill it! If she does neither of these things & just releases the single & album without promo then she won't be making huge sells & the sells can even be worser than BJ. It also depends of the quality, if it's good quality & she does 0 promo then it will probably be higher than BJ but still is not gonna do justice. Let's just hope she promotes like crazy & kills it 1

heather Posted April 25, 2016 #12 Report Posted April 25, 2016 People want this and that from Britney meanwhile I don't think they stop to ask themselves what Britney actually wants. We all want to see our fave at the top of the charts and everything, but I'm more concerned with what Britney wants for BRITNEY'S career. I'm happy with whatever direction she decides to go, whatever amount of promo she wants to do. It's all up to her, I'm just along for the ride. One "bad" ( I use this worse loosely because I still do very much enjoy Britney Jean) album is not going to launch Britney into some has been territory, nor will it make me think any less of her. I always have faith in what Britney delivers, and for the most part I've been completely satisfied with what she gives. Like others have said, it's mostly bored trolls who are trying to rile up fans then it is real concern, at the end of the day those opinions shouldn't sway yours. We already have that happy, bubbly Britney again, she's looking and dancing better than she has in a long time, she seems to be in a really good place and there's no doubt in my mind that will all transfer not only into her music but the next era as well. 3
David Posted April 25, 2016 #13 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Well, it's interesting. I feel like for once the general public is actually here for Britney's new music. People who are not necessarily her fans are praising her body, her personality on instagram, her re-gained confidence. She's getting so much positive publicity lately. I genuinely feel that as long as Britney's music is genuinely good then the general public will be here to appreciate it. The fanbase itself, on the other hand, is as negative as it can get and here you're right. After Britney Jean and Pretty Girls we can't really say we've been blessed with good music. The fact that other fanbases see Britney as a joke and belittle her past success doesn't help either. I was extremely excited for all things Britney and the Robin Leach announcement literally had me shaking. It sucks though because now I'm starting to feel like it was all a made-up story and I just want some sort of official confirmation. But then again, I know that the second something drops I'll be all over the place with excitement again. My best advice is... avoid places like Twitter. I am really active on it and I am considering deactivating when the album drops because I don't want anyone to ruin the experience for me. I remember how other fanbases chatting shit and constantly calling Britney Jean a flop really ruined the whole thing for me over time. Idk. 3
laracroftonline Posted April 25, 2016 #14 Report Posted April 25, 2016 i'm having a feeling ever since vegas that vegas is kind of killing he rmusical career worldwide since she only can be seen local and also was only on american awards shows so far so worldwide they really need to have a good plan to succeed. 1
MonaLisa613 Posted April 25, 2016 #15 Report Posted April 25, 2016 Some people just aren't happy unless they're complaining, she could release a killer album with killer videos, performances, in depth interviews and some will ignore all that and focus on a hair being out of place or eye makeup is to dark or anything else stupid like that, as long it gives them their negativity fix. While the negativity can be quite overwhelming, u just gotta ignore it and not let it influence u, at the end of day, your opinion is all that should matter to you. Fuck what others think!! 3

The only way people ruin things for u is if u let it happen, none of those things should bother u or furthermore make u deactivate that's kind of ridiculous if u asked me because at the end of the day it's whether u enjoyed it or not. Everyone has different opinions on things and you're going to see that everywhere on Twitter, forums.. Etc everyone is gonna have an opinion no matter what, but the only opinion you should be worried about is your own .. Others opinions shouldn't effect u 1

I mean Britney was carrying on too much with Britney Jean , she was recording, video shoots, photo shoots, planning, promoting & rehearsing for POM all at once, she really didn't have the time to do any type of promo performances for the album .. I blamed Vegas at first but I think I can kind of understand it now. So now that she has Vegas and everything set up there's really no excuse not to promote the album & do promo performances. So if she doesn't end up promoting we'll obviously know why

Domino Posted April 25, 2016 #22 Report Posted April 25, 2016 This is a bit of a reach tbh I'm sure that was an intentional exaggeration. :-P (This next section is not aimed at you, BlackoutEgo, just wanna clarify) I agree with the concept that there are some people that WANT to pick others apart, even supposed "fans". Like, okay. You're not a fan of her current endeavors. You say this next album is make it or break it for you. I'm not the fan police, but why reiterate in every fucking thread how tired you are of her Instagram and how lazy you think she is. Like, get a hobby. Take up yoga or paint some leaves or some shit. 3

You are correct, i was intentionally exaggerating in my original comment. While we certainly do have some petty, whitely little bitches within this fan base, I don't think they'd go to that insane level, lol, what u wrote was basically what I was saying, I just chose to do snarkily, lol 1
