Alien could have been one of the best opening moments of any of her albums... if the song didn't receive horrible vocal production and the rest of the album wasn't shit as well

That would be a nice change. Britney NEVER does interludes. A haunting instrumental with her voice echoing or even saying something to open up the album would be hot

I think it would be cool to have an intro and an outro. Maybe a couple of interludes, too. An instrumental intro with a couple of ad libs and ending with an iconic phrase would be great. Or moans. You know, as my sister herself said to me earlier today, no one moans the way Britney does.

I think OP means intro song like how the fanmade album Bare had an intro or like an abbreviated song. I'm down if it sets the tone. But Britney never does that. I think an interlude or a gradual changeover between 2 songs would be cool too.
