Chile Britney has dealt with this YEARS ago...she's not in denial she is just private...she may not want to see him I mean who would after that but she can def speak her truth and she has an amazing family that is there for her...she also has a world of fans that love her...I truly believe she wouldnt have finally gotten back to who she was prior to the drama if she didn't decide to face the facts and accept them...she needed to in order to get her power back I hope she wins...

Seriously tho the fact that they let her going there is kinda a good sign, it means she's able to deal with this.

I don't think we should freak out. Obviously we don't know her personally and what she is thinking, but im sure that she's in a good place, her childs love her, her family too, and this will gonna give her even more strength to be strong. Im confident to think that she's gonna be ok, this could be just the "closure" of this time for her. Maybe she "needs" to face him one last time and say HER truth (hopefully she wins the case) then this part of her life will be definitely over, she will turn the page and be free and happy once and for all.

It's quite obvious that she got worse under his "care" and got better when he was booted from her life, anyone that would side with him is insane. Hopefully, she'll win this and if so, I hope the courts can like forbid Sam from going after her again, I'm sure Britney and her family and of course us fans, would like this to be the final nail in that coffin.

Exactly! I feel like they're trying to spin it like "Maybe he wasn't such a bad guy!" No. He came into her life when she was already troubled (and something some people don't seem to understand is that drug use and mental illness are typically comorbidities- just because she was on drugs doesn't mean she wasn't mentally ill. What do I know? But all signs point to she was/is).

She spiralled VERY quickly after meeting him/being with him all the time. If he was intent on getting her clean, he would have sought out help, brought in experts. Even by his admission she would tell him "I'll do anything to get my kids back".

I believe Lynne's deposition when she says Sam drugged her. It's even possible that he made her quit other drugs like coke when he came into her life, only to turn around and fuel her Adderall use (without her even knowing). 

 

I don't know the details. It would be cool to see Britney whip out what REALLY happened (what she remembers, anyway, but I bet it's enough to slay him) and kick his ass in court. I have no doubt this guy is the shady scum he always seemed to be.

 

I just really, really wish this wasn't happening right now. I think she's on the cusp of starting the era. Hopefully this will be ONE court date and DONE and not the start of a court battle.
