I personally get the impression that she's really doing something different and original this time, but you know, I don't know if I can trust that idea because I also got that impression in 2013 so...

I just hope it's not something mainstream since that kind of music is so overdone at this point. It doesn't have to be too personal or anything but I'd be here for something truly deep and meaningful. She's more than capable of bringing stuff like that to the table; the question is - is she willing to?

I think so tbh, when I hear artsy fartsy, especially from Britney, I think experimental and different. I think that's what were getting, and I'm definitely excited for whatever we do get

I don't considere Lemonade or Anti artsy-fartsy at all. It's just prefabricated mainstream shit in disguise trying to attract the alternative audience. (With this I'm not saying they're bad, is just that is not genuine.)

 

I like the idea of Britney going artsy-fartsy but I don't think the execution would be good since her team is pretty basic and cheap and I doubt Britney knows how to make it work without end up doing the same than other mainstream artists.

I would like to know what "artsy-fartsy" really means to her.

Off topic: What is it with Britney fans and their blatant dislike for Beyonce and Rihanna's recent music. I love their new albums. But I actually like music that isn't pop-influenced stuff, so.... And on multiple forums (I read opinions on various sites) people bring up other artists when talking about Britney for no reason. No one mentioned them.

I don't like the music on Lemonade at all, but I love several songs on Anti - Needed Me, Kiss It Better, etc. 

Some of it took a while to grow on me, but Needed Me is one of my fav RiRi songs ever. Too bad the video is shit

I like Anti a lot more than Lemonade as a whole. Needed me, Kiss it better, Desperado, and Woo are my favorites. I appreciate both ladies for doing something different.

Needed Me music video was very pretty to look at. But that's about it. All of Rihanna's videos this year have been "look at me, I look good". No actual substance or real storyline for songs that deserve to have her most creative videos.
