It has nothing to do with the performance itself, remember that many videos of GM from the last leg of POM were blocked aswell! I think it has to be related to copyright issues

But all of the Gimme More videos were unblocked in all countries last year I think? Even when The rehersals and backdrop leaked they didn't block them. Well it obviously will be their excuse, but I think that the real reason has nothing to do with copyrights.

For two years they didn't have a problem with the POM videos of Gimme More and now they're suddenly blocking some of them. For years they didn't have a problem with the MATM videos either and a couple of years ago they started blocking them aswell. I don't understand how this copyright thing works, but I feel like that must be the reason because it just doesn't make sense to me that after 9 years they suddenly have a problem with that performance, but yeah, this is just a personal assumption, I can't be sure

Britney was kinda pleased with the performance and it was kinda iconic, tbh.
There's nothing to feel ashamed of.
I learned to appreciate it through the years.

Could it be because of the court hearing? They figured once it actually goes down there's going to be more news coverage and they don't want people remembering and sharing that video when she's in a much different place and trying to start a new era? Just a thought

I don't think so - there's a lot worse videos of her from that era that people could easily find, yet they're not removed.

I still can see a lot of videos , i mean not the performance itself (can't even find the studio version of it anymore, damn ) but i can see backtage videos, rehearsals videos , well everything related to that 2007 performance expect the performance itself.

Yes it was iconic, nobody can dispute that, and that performance is probably better than everything during the FF era but Britney was never pleased with it. She hated it, did you not watch For The Record sis?

She "hated it" according to the gossip. We never got that on video. Like Britnoy said, what we DID hear directly from her is that she thought it was "not so good". She shrugged it off back in '08. Now 8 years later it's suddenly so bad it needs to be "erased" (which is stupid as fuck because the internet NEVER EVER forgets).

 

I think there is something more to this than the "fresh start" theory. Guess we'll see.
