It's time to put the past in the past because new Britney's on a mission!

Yesterday the Britney Army noticed that Britney's full 2007 VMA performance videos have been removed off on youtube completely:

There are still some videos up but they are being taken down very quickly. It seems that Britney wants a whole fresh start with this new era and we support that 100%! Everybody deserves a fresh start in life and we are so pleased that Britney wants everyone to stop living in the past. We can't wait for this new era! IT IS MAY EVERYONE! BRITNEY IS COMING!!!

Awh, I actually kinda like the 2007 VMAs performance...  Maybe her team are gearing up for a new VMAs performance in August/September and are gradually getting rid of all the evidence of her only "flop" performance on the show?  A fan can dream...

They've pulled pretty much any video with Gimme More in it.

 

They just pulled an amazing choreo video thats been up since like 2008. Super Weird. 

 

Could it be something to do with her new RCA deal?? Maybe on the old one copyright takedowns weren't allowed?

In retrospect the performance really wasn't that bad at all, but it's completely understandable why she'd want it gone. Not only was it definitely not her best, but it represents that really awful time in Britney's life. Surprised it wasn't removed sooner tbh

She isn't a fan of that performance at all, in FTR she asked if this was included in that Britney VMA performances special. She was happy to know it was not.

I love it, and it's huge part of her and it can't never go away and it shouldn't! She can be fresh without removing past, no one can remove the past.

It's quite odd that they're doing "clean up" after almost 10 years of the performance. When you search on google for it and it links you through Youtube, they're all Blocked n copyright grounds by Sony. At first I thought it could have been a MTV thing but it's all Britney's people

Yeah its kinda weird that they are trying to clean that up after all this time.. Also I  do like that performance because it honestly is iconic. I dont really like them trying to erase Britney history

Okay but.. the performance wasn't THAT BAD... like we've had tons worse since then. Half the FF tour, many promo performances for HIAM and FF. But that being said, the 2007 thing is iconic and everyone knows how ""horrible"" it was.

 

But still lol, why damage control now? everyone has seen it.
