Well this is not how we wanted to start off the month of May....

Our iconic Radio Britney station is being forced to shut down and will no longer continue giving us 24 hour Britney Spears music anymore....

Radio Britney officially made their announcement on Facebook about the closing:

Dear All,

We are very sad to announce that Radio Britney is forced to stop its broadcast.

Indeed, a new american law does not authorized radios to play only one artist, which is the essence of Radio Britney since February 2009.

These past 7 years were amazing. We had a lot of fun and shared great moments with you all from all around the world. We had the most incredible listeners and we THANK YOU for this. We LOVE YOU !

Our passion for Britney will continue to grow but sadly without the radio.

We truly hope that you’ll keep good memories of your time spend with us for a long time !

What they could do is play 1 other artists song then play Britney for 5-10 and then play another artists song and the play Britney again

well it says American law. I thought they were from over seas. Why would this law affect them? I mean... they might not be able to continue to broadcast in America but they have the rest of the world
