Are you all ready for "Make Me (Oooh)"?!

According to Las Vegas Sun writer, Robin Leach, Britney's new single "Make Me (Oooh)" will be available to purchase on Monday May, 23rd the day after The Billboard Music Awards. Robin says:

The Planet Hollywood headliner, who revolutionized the pop-music scene on the Strip leading the charge for Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull and most recently Lionel Richie with her hit residency “Britney: Piece of Me,” also will be honored with the Millennium Award. Beyonce received the award in 2011 and Whitney Houston in 2012.

Britney wins the award to recognize her “career achievements and influence in the music industry.” The magazine and weekly sales tracking source notes that Britney has won six Billboard Music Awards, with six albums debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and 24 Top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100, five of which went to No. 1.

The girl who began her career on “Star Search” debuted with “Baby One More Time,” which went 14 times platinum in the U.S. alone. She has sold more than 70 million albums, singles and songs, cementing that Millennium legacy as a pop icon.

In addition to the Millennium Award news, Billboard confirmed our other earlier reports that Britney will sing a medley of her hits and include the premiere of her new single “Make Me (Oooh),” which is the advance single release from her next album. It’s believed that her new releases will go on sale May 23, the morning after the three-hour Billboard Music Awards telecast.

Britney will be in a lineup of amazing pop performers including Justin Bieber, The Go-Go’s, DNCE, Shawn Mendes, Nick Jonas, Tove Lo, Demi Lovato and another Las Vegas pop queen, Pink. Justin recently headlined MGM Grand Garden Arena, and DNCE is at Mandalay Bay Events Center this Friday with Justin’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.

That would be a tragedy. It needs to come out on the 20th in order for her to get a full week of sales. Releasing it on Monday would completely kill off the song's potential on the charts. I am praying he's wrong.

I'm so happy & that she's receiving the millennium award, it's very well deserved.

I think the single is getting released along with B9 since Robin said "Make me (Oooh) is the advanced single release from her next album, it is believed that her new RELEASES (more that one) will go on sale May 23rd"

I'm so hoping that the date is wrong & it releases on the 20th. If they release on monday that is gonna be such a dumb move ..
