SPEARS - TEAM PLANS VANISHING ACT FOR BILLBOARD PERFORMANCE

 

 

Sources tell TMZ that Britney Spears has already begun planning for her Billboard Music Awards performance which will feature bits from her greatest hits as performed at her hot-ticket residency show 'Piece of Me.' Meanwhile, her team is working on the logistics which will have Spears doing a vanishing act of sorts, accepting the Millennium Award live before ducking out as producers roll a pre-taped performance piece from The AXIS at Planet Hollywood. 

 

Here's the deal: Spears' 35-Million dollar contract with Planet Hollywood doesn't allow the 'Radar' songstress to perform in any other Vegas venues if tickets are being sold for the event. The deal ensures that any cash coming in for Spears shows in  Nevada remain in the pockets of her team and Planet Hollywood. Our sources say she is allowed to do free shows in Nevada or ticketed events "just about anywhere else in the world." 

 

Spears pulled a similar stunt last year when she showed up to the MGM Grand with duet partner Iggy Azalea before heading home as producers rolled a pre-taped performance of their single "Pretty Girls." It's likely that Spears and her dancers will film the performance the week before the live telecast on Sunday, May 22.

I feel a LITTLE underwhelmed, but still, a performance is a performance, and she's gonna slay it! I still wish we could see her performing outside of her POM stage for once, we haven't seen her anywhere else since 2011
