Why Do We Never Talk About This Song?

Overall I feel like Circus as an album is very underrated, there are so many good songs that never get the attention they deserve, but this one is just one of the best ones! I think I've seen some people saying that they don't like it, and I honestly don't know why because it just sounds so powerful and I don't know, it's just pure pop realness. What are your feelings about it?

Shattered glass is one of my favorites from the album, I so wanted it as a single/performed on tour. Underrated gem!

It's fun and fine, but it's always felt a bit underwhelming to me - like there was some more unrealized potential there. It ends so abruptly. But it is fun and it's a nice throwback to Oops / Britney era pop tunes.

It's a good song, but it's under three minutes, so I can't get turnt up to it

It's a cool song, but it has a big build up to the chorus which ends up being kind of underwhelming

It starts off well but doesn't really go anywhere tbh it feels unfinished.

Circus was a good album, IMHO.
Out From Under and My Baby are the only songs I always skip.

It's a perfectly good song, but to me it's not a standout track. It's a little generic IMHO. I disike the shattered glass effect in the beginning for some reason....but it's a fun song. I dont dislike it. Now Kill The Lights is an underrated gem!

The vocals, the production, the lyrics, dubstep influence and it leaves you wanting more Girl anthem without being a feminist song tbh

It's a good song, with good lyrics AND vocals but somehow it feels unfinished. There's something missing. I remember when those snippets from Amazon leaked it felt like it would be way better. I like it, but like some people already said its underwhelming. But the general public liked it, since it charted higher than Radar

I think part of the problem is it's on just after Kill the Lights. They always sounded too similar to me.

 

I like the lyrics a lot. I don't like the "gla-ee-ass" part. Just like I don't like the "lablee" part in I Wanna Go.

It's definitely one of my favorites from the album but my only problem is that it's waaaayyy too short. It needed a longer bridge and longer pre-chorus.

It's definitely a song I would put on repeat 1... It's just too short! I've heard some really good remixes of it though -- she'd slay this live like touch my hand.

I like the song but it doesn't sound finished. That's the problem with most of Circus.

This is one of my favorite songs from circus it's short but I think it's a great song anyway. my favorite tracks would be mannequin unusual you and this one

It's a good song. I was obsessed with it when it came out but now I just skip it.. it's one of the weakest on Circus.

I find quite annoying how she pronounces "glass" too.   

It's the only thing that I don't like too much from the song.

I've always loved it!   It's a great song. And the whole song feels like a contrast of Everytime, especially those parts: "my face is gonna haunt you all the time"/"And everytime I see you in my dreams I see your face, it's haunting me..."
