New Billboard Announcement Today - Is it Britney Related?

Many people are speculating that the impending BBMA announcement is about a Beyonce / Mariah collab 

 

However, our favourite insider Timothy thinks otherwise:

Could it be that we'll finally get confirmation that a new single is coming + being performed? Remember that right now we TECHNICALLY have no confirmation of a new single or album - all we have is the word of Robin and some insiders, and confirmation from Brit that she will perform a greatest hits medley.

The BBMA producer said 'next week' (meaning this week) but Timothy said today.... so yea, hopefully it finally happens. I think two weeks is a good time to announce, it will give the GP time to get hyped. Outside of the forums, no one really knows / expects a new Godney single.

They have already announced the millennium award and a performance. What more you want to be announced?
If the new single is being performed or not I doubt they're gonna make another announcement only for that.

I think Britney will definitely announce the single sometime before if she's going to perform it.  I don't necessarily think today's announcement is that, but it'd certainly be a big announcement if she was going to debut her new single at the award show. The last time she did that was Slave 4 U at the VMAs in 2001  

I do still think that the single will drop on the Friday, though.

Yes because he's actually been right before but his timing has been off. So far he's being messy w/ the new era

Because he probably has NOTHING on the new era and is seeking attention by making guesses.....and some people give it to him.

It would be cool if Britney shoots a BBMA TV commercial announcing she's performing the new single and they air the commercial like 2-3 days before the show.

For Britney it's late - HIAM and PG were both announced way in advance, had snippet / demo leaks, etc. 

Her team has done a great job with keeping info secure this time around

Oh no you're completely wrong lol, it's actually starting to get late. Britney needs to announce something like now since the single is being released next week. We still have nothing & not even artwork

The thing is, when he knows nothing he just says that he knows nothing. If you actually read through the PJ forums you'll see how hounded he is by posters there, and he usually responds with "I haven't heard anything" or "I don't know". When he does have news, he's said "take this with a grain of salt" - I believe it's true that this era has been kept so under wraps that even those with a slight insider perspective don't know everything. He's said that over and over. Britney and her team are working hard to make sure news doesn't get out until they want it to.

That's understandable but at the same time it's weird because when he didn't have any info he didn't say anything but once billboard & Robin said something then all of the sudden he has all this info.  I'm not denying him being reliable because he has been right before but he hasn't been spot on with this new era tbh

Well i honestly dont think its Moo they care about, but definitely Bey. if Bey does end up performign then britney is gonna have to bring it hard so she doesnt get outshined

This.  I think it's likely that Beyonce will perform....but even if Mariah were to perform, that's hardly news that would get anyone excited.
