My Guess at Make Me (Ooh)'s Release - Just a Fun Read, Don't be Serious!

May 16th - Billboard Announces that Britney will not only be receiving her award & performing her medley, but she will ALSO be debuting the WORLD PREMIERE PERFORMANCE of her brand new single, being released at the end of the week.
May 16th/17th - Britney releases (or maybe even "a leak") of the song to the public, maybe even a sneak peek of the video (if it's already been filmed,  ya never know)
May 20th - The song is premiered on Ryan Seacrest, with a Britney interview, where she confirms the release of a new album & talks the BBMAs and whatever else. The song is also released to iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music & TIDAL. An accompanying audio video is uploaded to her VEVO/YT. Sorry Ariana, She didn't mean to upstage your album release.....hehe.
May 22nd - Britney is awarded the Millennium Award at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, and performs a Medley of her Greatest Hits, as well as performs her brand new single (either at the end of the medley...or she could end the show with it...y'all, we would lose it if we didn't expect it)
May 27th - Britney releases the Music Video for Make Me (Ooh). Sorry Fifth Harmony, She didn't mean to upstage your album release either.....hehe.

 

 

This is how i'm expecting all of this to go down. All though. I'd be even more blown away if she just went balls to the wall and has secretly filmed the video already and releases it right on that Friday (if she did that, I think she'd secure a #1 debut, with the video streams + debut sales + debut streams + initial airplay (with a play deal), and the BBMA's)

What are you guys thinking is going to happen? or really....What do you hope happens?

Possible that we may get the music video friday too, according to BH, and if that's the case...Britney is COMING for that #1 debut.

Friday Single Release, with a Music Video & Radio Interview premiere, along with the world premiere performance 2 nights later (paired with an award & tribute about her)...all while getting a full week of sales, streams & radio airplay with major promo COULD ALL EQUAL BRITNEY'S 3rd & Record Tying #1 debut!

My guess is the video/single will be released on Friday 5/20, that would make the most logical sense based on charting rules.

May 22nd : Receive the award, performing medley + new single. 

Right after the performance : release song + video + pre-order the album on iTunes, Spotify, Tidal, Vevo, etc.

I hope this is correct!! I want Britney to come for that #1 spot just to silence the haters! The only part of the plan I'm conflicted about is whether or not I want the video to come out before the BBMA performance or right after... ????  I mean I know it would help with streaming but the idea of the performance debuting the new song slays me so hard!! It gives me "Slave 4 U" flashbacks!!!
