Capital FM: Britney's New Single Is Coming MAY 20TH!!!

Expect to hear the first taste of Brit's 9th album THIS MONTH!

It's been over a year since we last hear new material from Britney - when she appeared on Iggy Azalea's summer jam 'Pretty Girls'... and now we're getting restless.

But the wait is almost over - the first track from Britney Spears' ninth studio album will be called 'Make Me' and is set to drop on May 20th!

 

The track, previously called 'Make Me Ooh', will be revealed before Brit's performance at theBillboard Music Awards after months of speculation. A source has also revealed that the music video for the track is also ready to go - and Britney's in the best shape of her life in the promo.

 

We already know that Britters will be belting out a medley of her biggest hits at the ceremony in Las Vegas on 22nd May - but could we be seeing the first live performance of 'Make Me' too?

Britney's as yet untitled ninth studio album is expected later this year, and is the first new music we'll have heard from the superstar since 2013's 'Britney Jean'.

Now they are trying to throw off the track, so no major stories run with it, and that way, it will be a surprise.

I think they are planning on dropping the music video on premiere day, with a radio interview, and release to streaming/itunes & then the performance two days later.

Come on guys, they are not going to waste this night on just a medley of her greatest hits.

Both are possibilities, they have so weird ways to manage communication that yeah they could lie and make us believe it's not coming while it really is BUT they also could waste this opportunity like it already happened plenty of times before.

Why is everyone saying it's a waste tho? Artists do that ALL THE TIME when they get legacy awards. It's to get her name out there, to remind people about her long career, and to promote Vegas. There's nothing wrong with that. Celine isn't even singing one of her own songs  Maybe the single is coming, maybe it isn't.. either way, we should be happy that Britney is receiving an award and that she's going to be doing a live performance. It's not a waste.

I think you're probably right about this tbh..  And even if this isn't the case I'm still excited AF to see her medley of HITS performance!!!!
