It's not his fault, things change. I believe that he had accurate info when he revealed what he revealed.  Fans need to understand that his info was never confirmed publicly by RCA or Britney's people.

THIS SO MUCH. Until the info comes from Britney or her team, it's all rumors and speculations. If you believed him, fine, but don't get mad at Britney/her team when the rumors you believed weren't true.

Did he ever say he got it from Larry? No. He said LR and everyone assumed he meant Larry. Even if it was Larry, things change, plans change, and it's not Britney nor her teams fault that fans chose to believe unconfirmed rumors.

I haven't blamed britney or her team for anything though... I said the same thing in another thread. But I'm still expecting it on the 20th.

I'm speaking about the people blaming Britney/her team for this and saying she's missing an opportunity and etc. You can still expect it, that's fine, but if/when it doesn't happen don't come for Britney or her team. Direct your anger, if you have any, where it belongs.

So a huge promo plataform like the BBMA's thing won't be related to the single release AT ALL? That's seems extremely weird. I'm not gonna melt down or anything, and I'm not saying this to be negative, but I'll be kinda disappointed if when they really release the song she doesn't promote it. Idk, it just wouldn't make sense to do promo on May and then do nothing when the song comes out on summer. Of course I can't see the future, so maybe she will do something then aswell, but yeah, it just feels really weird :thinkingpinky:

Things obviously didn't change... Britney's been rehearsing for a while. They wouldn't have her "rehearsing Make Me (Ooh)" like Robin said if a date was gonna change. He's partially reliable (he's been right before & was right about the BBMA performance), but he probably just gets tidbits of info and bullshits around them.

Robin said she was performing it and debuting in on iTunes the next day

He didn't say she was performing the song tho that's why a lot of people wondered about it.

He said on twitter : "To Britney fans:Billboard appearance is live from new MGM T-MOBILE arena Las Vegas Sunday May 22 & premieres new Make Me (ooh) single ". Which is vague, and in his article its said : "Britney will sing a medley of her hits and include the premiere of her new single “Make Me (Oooh) which is the advance single release from her next album. It’s believed that her new releases will go on sale May 23, the morning after the three-hour Billboard Music Awards telecast. " which is still vague and doesn't mean she's performing it nor rehearsing it, we just assumed that she would.

So what is their strategy now for the release of the single though?

I thought for once they'd be smart and take the BBMAs opportunity to release it but now...  :coffee:

It was too good to be true! I usually don't bitch about stuff Britney or her team does but it was expected, Britney's team never do things right. She could've had a great comeback if she performed the single at the BBMA. Hopefully they will shut me up but this era has been a mess thanks to the stupid "insiders" and our naivety.

This era hasn't been a mess - there is no fucking era yet. Y'all are just whiney cunts.

Britney is winning a career-acheivment award and performing a medley of her hits - exactly what we all wanted back in 2011 at the VMAs. Instead of being excited, grateful, and happy, y'all are being bitches because you believed insiders who have been wrong time and time again. Britney's team had her perform at the show last year and the single still died - she'll have a great 'comeback' regardless, as long as the music is great. You're so fucking dramatic, someone should give you an Oscar :byebitch:
