I think it's all a matter of intent and how it's precieved. This post for example I don't find tragic or embarrassing. It was done in a respectful way where the op gave options that weren't riddled with shade if you disagreed with their opinion.

 

I think there are plenty of other threads where its clear the ops goal is to mock Britney/fans and that's what I would consider tragic.

As long as they don't edit it like a music video (like pretty girls for instance) and they show the full performance then I don't really care so much.

 

However, if I had to choose I would like her to perform live!!!

I would be surprised at this point honestly. Opening up a show with a pre-recorded performance would be incredibly lame.
