It’s spotlight time on the Britney Army!

Today we are featuring another Britney Army member, Joe, who will be sharing his Meet and Greet story with Britney. Check out his story below:

I’ve been meaning to write my meet and greet story for so long! February 17, 2016 will be marked as one of the greatest days in my life. Meeting the ACTUAL princess of pop, Miss Britney Spears. I’ve loved her since I was four years old when the Toxic video premiered on Making The Video. I stole all my sister’s Britney CDs from BOMT to In The Zone as a child. My grandma got me a printed picture of Britney from the 2003 VMAs and signed it “Happy Birthday Joey, Love Britney.” I legit thought it was Britney’s signature until I was nine. The first album I bought was, Blackout, the bible of pop. I remember going into Best Buy with my birthday money at seven years old and getting the last one. Everyone wants a piece of Britney! I saw her for the first time during the Femme Fatale Tour. When she popped up singing Hold It Against Me, I started crying. I though no concert could ever top this. Then came the Vegas residency. In February 2014, I got to witness Godney Spears SLAY the Axis. Her dance moves were so on point and she had such a fierce attitude, it was so amazing. I figured that would be my last time seeing her until the residency was over. Until Christmas 2015, the last present I opened was a Meet and Greet ticket for February 2016. I literally almost died. Two months later, I get the email about picking up the ticket from the box office and it actually hit me that I’m meeting Britney. The morning of February 17, 2016, I could barely eat anything. At around 5:30 I started walking to Planet Hollywood. My nerves were kicking in so bad, my heart was beating so hard in my neck, I truly thought I was going to have a heart attack. But when I talked to Fe before the backstage tour, I wasn’t as nervous. She’s such a sweetheart. I talked about meeting her two years ago after the show and I looked like a MESS, then I was like “You’re the closest person here to Britney, like besides her kids” and she said that’s so sweet! Then we had a cute conversation about how JJ and Preston come to the shows on the weekends and how they love seeing their mom on stage. After the backstage tour and seeing Brit’s costume room, which was life changing, there was about forty minutes until we had to line up to meet her. Let me tell you, that was the longest forty minutes of my life. When everyone got on line, we all started freaking out. One girl started crying, another one was hyperventilating, and I just went into a state of shock and got really quiet. When I was next, I could hear Britney talking and I saw her beautiful silhouette. I said “oh fuck” underneath my breath when the security guard gave me the signal. I gave Fe a hug then went in. Britney Jean Spears looks even more beautiful in person than in any picture I’ve seen. So this is how it went down.
Me: Hey Britney
Brit: Hey baby! How are you?
Me: I’m excellent, you look so stunning oh my god
Brit: Thank you! *giggles* you’re so sweet!
Me: So for our pose, I want it to be hot. So I’m gonna look all shocked and point to you, and then you’re gonna do like a fierce pose
Brit: Love it!

Me: Awesome! Can I have a hug please?
Brit: Of course!
*Best hug of my life takes place*
Me: Thank you so much Britney!
Brit: Thank you!! Enjoy the show

I walked out in an even bigger state of shock. Britney is the sweetest celebrity to ever exist. And the show was even better than the last time I was in Vegas. Hope you guys enjoyed my story and thank you Britney-Galaxy.com!!!
