It breaks my heart every time I play this interview/song.

This could have been the start of one of her best eras.
The fact that she premiered the song on the radio without her label's support just speaks for it self. She really believed on this project.
I truly think Mona Lisa would have been #1 and one of her most appreciated singles by the critics & GP. It was something unexpected, fresh and with a message.

If that had happened we wouldn't have had the iconic comeback of Britney in the discography (blackout), the commercial public comeback (circus era) and Britney's comeback as a performer (2016ney)!

 

Now she will forever be iconic!!!
