What IF Britney will ANNOUNCE a single on the BBMAs?

 

Instead of premiering one, announcing a single after a performance would be smart as well ...

Would fit perfectly in her acceptence speech

 

I just cannot believe she will take the stage, get the award and "bye felicia".

What would be amazing is if right at the end  her performance, a screen behind her reveals the single art work and a date. That would garner attention

that would be a fantastic idea if they do not plan on premiering & performing it  yet.

Her Family (her mom, her sister, the kids?) would open the show, with Britney's Award, with a short video featuring other stars, where they would announce her award, and everything, and say something with "Here to kick off the show, and with the FIRST performance of the night, give it up for our queen (the boys yell in "our mommy!" on cue), and the recipient  of tonight's "Millennium Award" BRITNEY SPEARS. 

Britney does her performance, and ends it with her Family coming over with the Award (and a Microphone/Stand being put in place), where she makes her acceptance speech, where she ends it off with something sweet, and begins walking off with her family...when she stops...runs back over to the microphone & goes "oh, and by the way, my new single will be coming out......*insert date* Goodnight y'all!" as she runs off, and the single cover & release date are projected on the stage behind her.

Honestly performance of the single or not. I NEED it straight after. An announcement, countdown on her website, a tweet and instagram post.

Well, when she got her awards in 2009 at TCA, and in 2011 at the VMAs, she just got her award and "bye felicia".

 

Actually, the surprising thing this time is that she's performing. I do agree they should at least announce the single, or release it that day or the following day, even if she doesn't perform, but what I mean is that it wouldn't be that weird if they don't.

Also I think it would be a little bit, um, out of place to just announce the single like that, in the middle of her speech, as if it was nothing.

 

It would make more sense to premiere the actual videoclip before they go to commercials, but that would happen only in my wildest dreams lol
