chill. Everything this era is being really stressful and confusing (as always ) but even though things are not going as expected with the single and all that we need to:

Enjoy Godney's latest gem, which got forgotten way too early

 

remember how slayed we were by this performance last year

 

and realise that we'll be getting something even better next Sunday

 

I really really REALLY want her to release the single ASAP and I honestly find it really weird that they won't do it now, but yeah, the fact that there's still stuff going on has to make us feel happy, not disappointed!

If things are really getting delayed, I'm hoping they have something planned for the VMAs....which are much better promo than the BBMAs

It's like people think this is the ONLY chance for a promo opportunity. They did the same thing with the V Magazine hype and then look, we got BBMA. No one expected that, and if the single is coming later, I'm sure they have a promo plan in line for it.

I get why people think that way, we're already used of getting just one or two pieces of "big" promo each time, you know? So seeing her doing stuff without a new single to promote feels weird and out of place. But yeah, we should think about it and realise that we can't get mad about stuff we know nothing about! We can't be sure that she's not gonna do something as big as the BBMA's when she actually releases the song, so for now the best thing we can do is to enjoy what's happening right now
