You can't assume that he's lying if we don't know what's going on behind the scenes. They probably did have issues & had to push it back or maybe they're just waiting for the competition to finish with what they're doing. We can't just assume on things

I definitely agree with you, we don't really know what's going on and the safest thing to do is not believe anything other people say. Let's just wait till Britney or her team confirms it. Lately I've been living for your posts lol.

And that's not blaming nor am I upset or complaining about any of it. I think this could all be planned is all I'm saying and like I mentioned in my original post, it's coming either way so there's no need for a panic.

There probably is .. Like I told another member, maybe they're just waiting for the competition to die down so they can release it right away soon after. Right now there's major competition that would easily block her. Of course her team isn't going to admit to that but then again it's understandable after what happened with BJ

They do have a choice and the summer release is what they chose. The only

competition for the fall would

be Katy & maybe even Gaga but that's it. All the major threatening competition is happening now

The RCA exec said it's coming sometime in summer, the radio station said it's coming sometime in summer, & now her team is saying it's coming sometime in summer.. How much more confirmation do u need sis? It's not coming until the next couple of months

Britney & her management never confirmed anything so I don't get why y'all are getting upset. Yes Robin probably

told the truth but Britney & her team didn't specifically tell us. This is exactly why they keep everything a secret

Listing 'production difficulties' as the reason behind this delay is the most basic explanation they could have come up with. I mean, don't artists usually blame 'production reasons' for tour cancellations when their shows are not selling? This honestly could mean anything so claiming that the label doesn't like or believe in the song, producers are pulling out of the project, etc. is a bit over the top. The RCA exec was raving about her new music.

 

I know it's all a guessing game at this point but they probably did not anticipate such high competition. When Robin Leach announced the song, there was barely anyone out there and now we got Beyonce, Drake and Justin all dominating the charts. They'll probably wait until it all cools down. I am glad Robin wasn't informed about the new release date. We know the song is finished and we know the video is done (right?). They will now be able to drop the song much quicker and with less planning when the day feels right. People will be able to appreciate the song more when there's less to compare it to.

 

And to everyone crying about the wasted promotion opportunity, sure, it would've been great. But let's not forget that Beyonce performed at the Superbowl without any new material months before the release of her album and did just fine. The only concerning thing is everyone's attitude. I've seen so many fans already turn her backs on Britney and claim that they won't "support the song" because of something so petty... and that's just sad. Enjoy your day ya'll.
