Sad news everyone……

Britney’s new single Make Me (Oooh) will not be debuting at the Billboard Music Awards due to technical problems, according to Robin Leach.

I have good news that will make Britney Spears’ fiercest fans very happy, but I also have bad news that will get them very upset. As I pleaded a couple of weeks ago, please do not make me your punching bag: I am only the messenger!

As of Monday night, the 2016 Billboard Music Awards rundown for Sunday’s live 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET show has Britney kicking off the three-hour extravaganza hosted by Ludacris and Ciara.

Britney will be in the new T-Mobile Arena to perform a medley of her super hits, but plans for her to debut her newest single, “Make Me (Oooh),” hit a snag over the weekend.

I’m reliably told that technical production difficulties outside Brit and her management’s control have caused a delay in the scheduled release of the video and single until later this summer.

“There’s no point in Britney previewing it so far in advance if we don’t even have a new release date yet,” I was told. “She is like us truly saddened that matters outside our hands have set back the hoped-for schedule.

“We’re told that it’ll now be later in the summer, but we don’t even know exactly when yet until production hiccups are resolved.”

Britney also will be presented with the prestigious Millennium Award during the ABC telecast that also stars fellow Las Vegas headliner Celine Dion and regular Pink.

Oh well!

Chin up everyone, we have Britney’s Billboard music award performance to look forward too and of course the summer single!

I do think everything Robin reported was from Larry with his blessing (same for Jordan Miller), this isn't a Timothy situation at all.  Not even close.   I give three snaps to Britney/her team for never publicly acknowledging or promising anything regrading "Make Me (Oooh)."   She has been going about her business everyday since this story initially broke, with not a single hint of a brand new single - and the less said about a "surprise release" at this point the better. (I just wish this were phasing me like some here but it's not in the slightest.)  

 

I'm hoping she kills this moment Sunday, because if she does I think many will be more than satisfied with a single dropping "sometime this summer" instead.  I want all her ducks lined in order, and if that means postponements I'm more than happy to wait a little bit longer.   She seems very determined to make #B9 just right and I'm happy to believe this is the case.  

I'm not here for another Britney Jean in any shape or (Myah-vocal)form.

Has anything happened like this in the past? Just seems interesting the time we was supposedly getting a suprise release its been pushed back months

My guess is that they could release it sooner if they wanted to, but they'd rather wait for a better time or to organize another promo plan, you know? If they can't release it along with the BBMA's performance then they will have to work on another release plan, a fitting date and all that. Behind every song that's released there's a lot of work, it's not just putting it on iTunes!

I think we need to move on.. It's not coming. I don't get why they would have told Robin it was, if then it's to pretend it's not.

I don't see the issue it could be tho. I mean unless they have to re-film it, it can only be an editing problem but it doesn't take weeks or even months to re-do something, or finish it if it's not. They could have stick to the plan, but come up with a dance video instead or something like that since it's very trendy right now, preview the official one. And then release the official video like a week later or so.

i mean i am extremely happy that we will get a (hopefully amazing) medley-performance..

but to release the single (MM) Friday and to perform it Sunday would be kinda perfect....we will see, but I don't really believe in the "technical difficulties" tbh

Except the MV was filmed a month ago so they've had plenty of time to re-shoot it. Its all lies sis.

I don't believe a word of this at all. It seems to be some excuse and they're not telling us the exact reason why. Surely if it's ready they should release it? There's something very fishy and underhand going on here.
