Leaks don't affect sales. Leaks are a marketing move.

 

Rebellion simply hasn't leaked because they don't want it to leak, any other song that did leak is because they LET IT LEAK ON PURPOSE.

 

Do you really think somebody like you or me could hack in their hard drives, or a producer that leaks shit? Come on people...

Now more than ever I think Robin whatever his last name is was lying. Most of the time Britney's singles get leaked and if the song was truly supposed to be released this Friday it would have leaked already, and I think he's making up this story that it got delayed due to technical problems because he made everything up. Maybe Britney hasn't set a date to release it and he just said that because he had a feeling like us that since she was on break from POM she would release a new single. Who knows, we can only assume things but from now on I don't believe anything Robin says. Hopefully Britney and her team are doing things right this era and they keep everything a secret just like they have been doing. Let's pray for this single, hopefully it won't leak and Britney won't have to be rushed.

It could also mean that they finally found a way to keep it under wraps and have her new music guarded

Honestly think outside of the world of britney for a second, not everyone's songs leak ahead of time. Adele didn't leak, Beyonce didn't leak, nothing Janet release for the last album went out ahead of time. Had Tidal not dropped the ball, Anti wouldn't have leaked either. I think the leaks happen because certain people at the labels or people who work in the mixing studios keep copies of the files and then upload them to the web. In this case, the team may have tighter controls around them to avoid that. Plus she obviously isn't happy when things leak, she expressed her disappointment with the BJ leaks on Twitter so if it's a marketing strategy that's strange.

I think her and the team accept that leaks can happen but they don't want them to.
