  • Britney's first live solo televised performance since 2011 :o
  • Her first live solo awards show performance in America since the 2007 VMAs :crying2:

NOW, I know a possible setlist leaked last night... we should take it with a grain of salt, considering every other rumour we've heard up to this point ended up being false, leading to multiple butt-hurt bored cunts having meltdowns... BUT if it is true, consider this... we'll be getting:

  • The FIRST ever professional recording of Work Bitch live :crying4:
  • The FIRST American awards show performance of Womanizer + the flawless dance break that scalps us all :crying5:
  • The FIRST awards show performance of Breathe on Me, Touch of My Hand, ILR&R :bomt:

Toxic has never been performed on an American awards show before, y'all. Can you putos even fathom that she might be OPENING A MAJOR AWARDS SHOW WITH BREATHE ON ME AND TOUCH OF MY HAND?!?!?! Fuck my butt and throw me in a ditch, tbh, because my life will be complete if that really happens :fliph:

I don't see how anyone can complain. Everyone knows BOMT / Oops. They will never forget those songs.

It's time for Britney to remind the GP that she never disappeared after 2004, and she's utilizing WB / Womanizer to do that.

29yqie0.jpg

Also, much of the GP don't know BOM / TOMH, which will give them a new appreciation for edgeyney, artsyney, and slutney :sorrynotsorry:

I think the setlist is fun because:

1) It's totally unexpected

2) It mixes huge hits (Toxic, Womanizer, Slave) with lessor known gems (WB / TOMH / BOM)

ILR&R is.... an odd choice. But it's fun, funky, and very very cool :uhhuh:

No setlist would please every fan. Let's just be grateful that she is DOING THIS. Getting ready to scalp us bald with an opening of a major American awards show ON HER OWN. Who cares if she doesn't perform the songs you wanted? Yes, I'd love to see Stronger, HAIM, Gimme More, etc. represented, but I'm glad that she's doing what SHE wants to do. Britney could have turned down this offer, but she's doing it. SHE'S POTENTIALLY OPENING THE BILLBOARD AWARDS WITH A SONG ABOUT MASTURBATION :tomh:

I'm so happy that she's in a place where she's confident enough to do this, finally. Come slay us, Queen. Take back ya thrown.

I am SO excited for her performance, and even more so after the set list leak. If true it's totally unexpected and some of the best numbers in Vegas. If its not true we still have Britney OPENING AN AWARD SHOW, there's not a single reason to complain at this point!

I'm going to get so drunk for this performance, tbh :xf2:

I'm still not sure about that setlist being real and I still think that she HAS to perform Baby One More Time, but either way I'm gonna die on Monday morning when I get on my computer and witness the slayage of the holy spearit :crying1:

Besides, I have an English final on Monday so she'll help me get through it, thank you Godney :yasqueen:

I don't know if it's real either, and I'm inclined to not really believe anything, but it's cause meltdowns and I don't get why, because I think it's an flawless mix of songs.... the Slave break + the Womanizer breakdown in one performance alone is enough to slay :crying1: Then add in her most recognizable hit (Toxic) and two of her best career songs ever (BOM / TOMH) and the flawless choreo of WB, and it would be a smasha :crying2:

I understand why IF THIS IS REAL, she wouldn't want to do BOMT / Oops... those songs are very connected to young Britney. It's not like if she doesn't perform them @ The BBMAs people will forget them. I think it's smart to sort of move away from them in a way and show people she has so many other recognizable songs (Toxic, Slave, Womanizer) and introduce the GP to other music that she is more proud of like TOMH. I think she's always wanted to be able to do those songs on awards shows, and I think they're similar to the sound she'll be going for on the new album.

However, if we get a straight-up GH medley, I'll be very happy too ;)

I'm glad she's performing alone at an American award show for the first time since 2007, and while WB, Womanizer and Toxic truly deserve an award show performance.. What's with BOM and TOMH? :xf14: Yes, the Vegas performances are hot but they are not greatest hits medley material. 3 songs from ITZ and none from BOMT, OIDIA, Blackout and FF? :bitchney: Doesn't make any sense. Besides, performing ILRNR is a huge risk.. The song got a lot of backlash back in the day. And where's Gimme More?

I really don't think this is the setlist. I just can't imagine a setlist without BOMT.

Yeah, I really love the songs from the leaked setlist but you know, I just feel like it'd be a very odd choice to include them because after all the main point of that performance is to pay homage to her greatest hits, the ones that cemented her as the pop iconc that she is, so to me it's weird that she'd be doing album tracks while ignoring some of her most well known songs! Just to be clear, I'd really really REALLY enjoy the performance if the setlist was real because TOMH and BOM are some of my favourite songs ever, but I just get the impression that considering the whole context of the tribute and all that it'd be better if the medley was completely dedicated to her singles, leaving the fan favourites aside, but yeah, no one will see me complaining about it! :bomt:

I'm not gonna lie I was a bit disappointed when I seen the setlist because billboard said it was gonna be a "greatest hits medley" but then I thought about it & realized those are the songs she goes ham in & she fucking kills it. People are whining about how they already seen it blah blah blah but yet they're failing to realize that this is a side the GP & the world hasn't seen from her in a while & this is something that they've been craving from her. I'm actually excited about this she's definitely gonna come thru & show these peasants that she's back !

Also there's no reason anyone should be pissed, this is Britney's night! She's going to be honored with the millennium award & is going to perform live! That's what's we've all been wanting from her. It's also obvious Britney was the one who chose the setlist ugh I love her

This. BOMT / Oops have been done over and over. If this setlist IS real, I'm looking forward to the GP seeing sexyney / slutney again. These are all songs that she obviously really loves, and that makes all the difference in her performance. Some people would think that BOM / TOMH are new songs :letsgetcrayzay:

Tbh I'm really happy with the set list. It has all of the best dancing she's done since 2004, the parts that slay us the most and she's obviously confident doing those songs. I'd rather have no BOMT/Oops than 18 year old vocals anyway :) the gp were blown away by the PG performance last year. Imagine how they're gonna react when they see the return of Primeney! :awkwarddd:

The fact she is at an award show performing not just one song, but a whole damn medley gets me FREAKING EXCITED!!

Totally agree with everything said, my initial thought was that the set list is fake.  But even if it isn't, Britney is going to SLAY people!!!

:yay1:  :crying1: :yayy:

I think she should do a performance with 6 songs, 3 of "young Britney" and other 3 of "Britney Comeback". Because if she use more older songs than the last that she did, people will say that it is a "one hit wonder", so I think she should use BOMT, OIDIA, Toxic, Womanizer, Till The World Ends and Work bitch.

Exactly ! I actually think the setlist is real because the guy also posted the full list of presenters yesterday & they all got announced today on billboard. Either way I think it's still gonna be fresh for us stans because it's not like she's going to bring every single prop with her for each song. So there's definitely gonna be some changes which I'm really excited about
