Blah, blah, blah. You're acting as if everyone in America is watching 15-second instagram clips of her Vegas performances three nights a week and knows the performances inside out like us. Stop, the majority of general public hasn't been to the Piece Of Me show so this was as new and fresh to them as any new choreography would've been to us. And if her Vegas choreo is good and she feels comfortable using it, why criticise her for it? You can tell she was really nervous when Work Bitch started and having all new stuff could've been too overwhelming.

I think she did great. Like I said, the beginning was a little sloppy. The entire Work Bitch was stiff and the first half of Womanizer wasn't too good either. But then... she clearly relaxed. Her facial expressions, her moves, she went hard and I love it! The guitar grinding, the flip, THE PERFECT DANCE BREAK FOR SLAVE, new FANTASTIC choreo for Toxic (who would've thought that this was going to become a highlight of the performance?!) I'm STOKED! I loved it. She looked BEAUTIFUL, best in years. I'm so proud of her.

Ugh I love for you for this !!! I completely agree with it all. I'm just ignoring these peasants they expect & want so much from her! Like fucking comparing femme fatale to this slayage. They should be grateful Britney is not at that stage in her life anymore.. Britney literally cried after her performance

I loved the performance ! Probably one of her bests ever :yay1:

Of course she was nervous in the beginning & it was totally showing , but after that, she started to slay and damn she slayed hard !

I saw almost everything I wanted to see :

The backflip ( or whatever else it's called ) during TOMH

The Slave dance break

The Womanizer dance break

OrgasmNey HairflipNey on the guitar

BOM

I hoped to see the ground choreo of WB too , it would've slayed hard , but she slayed without it anyway , so I'm fine with it.

And two unexpected things were

Pre-recorded vocals

And the Toxic dance break

So , overall I think this is one of her best performances ever :crying5:

8,5/ 10

I think it should have had a little more dancing in some parts ( like in Work Bitch, she was moving long time the arms and head until to take off his coat and move to next music)!

I just take a 10 if the performance was live :getlaid:

I liked the performance - definitely the best award show performance we've seen from her since 2007!

However, she needs to work a bit more on the fluidity of her choreography - it still looks as though shes thinking a bit too much about the steps, which makes her look slightly robotic. I also think the choreography she's been given is bad... when she performed the original Slave choreography, it looked so good and effortless - her choreography for the last couple of years is not as amazing as the old stuff.

I was also disappointed by the set list - as much as I love BOM,  ILRNR and TOMH, those are fan favorites not her greatest hits. Why she didn't perform some of her other hits, such as BOMT, Gimme More, Crazy, Oops, TTWE, Circus or POM is shocking to me.

And finally... the lip-syncing - unfortunately, she will ALWAYS be criticized for not singing live by majority of the GP. Maybe the performance would have been received a bit better had it contained some live vocals.

Her costumes???  Nothing extraordinary on more than half of the performance?

The coat looked cheap and the bra/bottom isn't my taste. It's just a personal opinion.

But yeah, expect for Toxic, Womanizer (breakdown only because the rest is meh like on POM) the rest isn't mind blowing, and no it obviously wasn't bad so don't act like other like if we totally hate it and didn't like anything and it was complete shit, it's not the case at all, to me it just wasn't WOW for the rest that's all. She didn't do the WB choreo , ILRNR was fine but BOM and TOMH were a waste, she should have performed and slay GM and MATM instead, plus at least those were singles.
But seriously tho, it just MY fucking opinion, why do y'all have to jump on everyone who don't think the same as you, it's seriously tiring. I liked the performance , i just didn't love some part of it and that's MY problem and yes i'm allowed to express it just like y'all are allowed to think and tell it was amazing all along.

I will agree about BOM & TOMH that was definitely a meh moment but I was definitely slayed by the whole performance. The whole media is literally praising her & even Wendy Williams is slayed lol. I just think about femme fatale era & look at this Britney now and I honestly have no complaints. I get that everyone has their own opinions but she literally did her thing last night & looked amazing. I just get tired of the nitpicking that's all. I known I'm known for being a little bitch at times but I just learned to accept this Britney.

OMG she performed BOM and TOMH! On the BMAs!:crying1: Now give them a hot music video, b*tch!:crying5:

Now, seriously, I'd give it 3,5/ 5.

I didn't like:

- "I Love Rock 'N' Roll" (I expected "Gimme More".:frenchy:Were they scared of 2007?)

- I know she's 34 and was nervous, but her moves were...:umad:

- pre-recorded vocals (but maybe they saved her performances, no one can sing perfectly while dancing)

I liked:

the rest.

HOW COULD I EVER COMPLAIN AFTER SHE SLAYED ALL THE PEASANTS THAT HAVE EVER TRIED TO DO CHOREO...

Now all those singers will think twice before trying to dance when Britney is around...

Slayed by the womanizer breakdown

Slayed by I love rock n roll (love every second of this performance)

Slayed by breathe on me (perfect choreo)

Slayed by the backflip

Slayed by this divine toxic choreo

Slayed by her FIERCENESS (even during work bitch...she was FIERCE)

Slayed by her body

Slayed by the fact that she didn't just include the GREATEST HITS. It made the whole performance really fresh!!!

JUST SLAYED!!!

After watching several times, I've decided to go for 4.

The good:

  • The toxic and slave dance breaks slayed so hard I almost cried. I had an exam today and I watched the performance just before it, half way through my exam I still couldn't get over the slayage and almost began to cry.
  • That costume is so sexy
  • Her hair and make up is on point
  • The pre-recorded vocals made me so happy. During BOM and TOMH especially, it genuinely sounded live.
  • I was sceptical about ILRNR, BOM and TOMH, but I actually enjoyed them. Brit grinding on that guitar like there's no tomorrow was actually a highlight of the performance for me and some of those hair flips were pure slayage. Also, BOM and TOMH were perfectly implemented, it was a break from all the fierceness of the fast pace songs.
  • Loved the fireworks, especially at the start of the womanizer break and during ILRNR,

The only thing that was not  so good:

  • If they swapped WB for either GM or BTI the setilist would've been perfect imo, I know this has been said a million times already. If they started the performance with either "It's Britney Bitch" or "It's been a while...." It would have been so epic.

So yeah, basically, this perfomance was probably the best I've seen Brit do in a long time. It's clear that she's comfortable, happy and genuinely enjoys being back on the stage and doing what she does best, performing her ass off and slaying us all.:crying5:I have so much respect for Britney right now, and it's absolutely amazing how she's gone through so many ups and downs and yet picks herself up everytime. :crying1:

so slayed rn as you can probs all tell

Just in WB and most of Womanizer she looked stiff and nervous. Toxic really took me by surprise because it's been a while where she visibly dances better and more effortless than her dancers and she did just that. Her moves on the floor, woah. The smile she had when she messed up the beginning, woah. And it's a new routine. BOM and TOHM choreography are different in many ways, so I'm not comparing those to the rest. Still they slayed imo.

And I'm really happy she did not perform BOMT and Oops and Crazy. She's not 16 anymore, she's performed these songs for 20 years straight and they don't translate anymore into what she wants as an artist and performer. Sure, no Blackout songs were kinda sad, but I understand 100%  why she wouldn't want to touch them, especially Gimme More.

She obivously chose the songs, we know she loves to perform BOM, TOHM, ILRNR and Toxic, and I'm happy she's finally in control again.

not going to be delusional. She worked (bitch) that performance. She did amazing, except for the beginning (as we all know)

the setlist could have been better but we all know it was POM promo and that highlighted the new and freshly added songs (TOMH, BOM, ILRNR)

i wish she had actually been given her award on stage

Britney killed it and I hope she does more performances (outside POM) when the new era stars

5 / 5. Could I nitpick? Sure. But the bottom line is that THAT is the Britney we all want to see. She overcame her fear ("she taught us ALL how to be fearless") and put on an amazing show. She looked amazing, she served fierce attitude throughout, she killed the important dance moves, and she was exuding sexuality the entire time. Watching that performance open the show followed by the likes of Fifth Harmony, Meghan Trainor, Demi, etc. showed me once again how crucial Britney is to pop music - there is NO ONE like her. No one can do what she does the way she does it. I was so happy to see Queen doing her thing on live TV again, and you could feel the crowd loving it. She is truly America's sweetheart... and America's sex kitten. I will forever be slayed that she included BOM / TOMH in an award show performance in 2016. Also.. that was easily one of her sexiest stage outfits OF ALL TIME. I'm still on cloud 9 the next day. So, so, so impressed and happy for her :yay1:
