That Medley performance included many big things last night. 
Even if she didn't get a speech, and she only got that opening video thing (which should have been longer & included other stars), a lot of amazing things went down in the performance, besides, for all we know, that could have been what Britney wanted. 

 

Work Bitch, Breathe On Me, Touch Of My Hand, I Love Rock'N'Roll were all performed on an Award Show for THE FIRST TIME.
For Work Bitch, and I Love Rock'N'Roll, it's the FIRST TIME Britney is performing them on Television.

BRAND NEW CHOREOGRAPHY FOR TOXIC. 
She hit the Floor. Like. Hard. Nailed it. Slayed. 
BACK FLIP (assisted, but still fking amazing, had everyone slayed)
Body. On Point. LIke, 2001-ney is re-incarnated with Mom-ney (Mega-Evolution anyone?

P.s I really hope they change up the setlist again, and do this Breathe On Me into Slave thing...cause that was hot.

I really don't get all the fuss about the damn speech. Who cares? Celine only performed one song and had a small speech and it still wasn't as long as Britney's slot. She slayed everyone and that's all that matters. I'd rather have the 7 min performance than 3 minutes with a speech anyday. She said more with her performance than she ever could with a crappy speech anyway. Get over it and enjoy being bald.
