Hoping sometime soon in early June bc I could really use new Britney slayage before PRIDE , but knowing that these things NEVER come when you want them to.. It probably won't come until sometime in July or August..

Honestly after this unexpected delay I can't imagine when they'll release it, but considering that the song was almost ready to be released and that the other day she talked about listening to her favourite song that she wrote 7 months ago it makes me think that the whole project must be almost ready, if it's not finished already, so I don't know, hopefully we'll get news soon!

end august/september, hopefully, i don't want it to be released in the middle of summer, it's not a good period. And i hope she premieres it at the VMAs. She has to perform it somewhere anyway, she performed to promote her show so she better perform to promote her music.

I've decided not to buy into any of the rumours or speculation anymore, because it always ends in disappointment. I'll just wait until it comes and be slayed when it does.

I'd love a June release tbh. If she dropped the first single in June, she could drop the album in July or August. She's off from July 13 to August 17th. It's unlikely that she'll do the VMAs as they're in NYC and she has a show the night before in Vegas. I want a summer anthem, tbh  She can always still promote on late night shows, which run all summer (Kimmel, Fallon, James Corden, etc.) or any of the morning shows (GMA, Today, Live w/ Kelly).

Yes, but  she also has VMA night, and the next two nights, off, so she could very well attend the show (though I doubt a performance)
However, I totally agree with a June release. June 17th to be specific. They could release the single on that day to Radio/iTunes/Streaming (could do music video, but i'd wait a week)
It's also the day she returns to Las Vegas, and she could surprise perform the song (in place of the Missy Elliot Tribute) on that same day.
Tuesday, June 21st, she can go on Ellen, and premiere a sneak peek of the music video, and announce it's out friday.
Then, Friday, June 24th, release the music video for the song.

A june release would be nice too, but i don't think it's coming that soon otherwise i wouldn't see the logic of delaying it in the first place and not take advantage of the BBMAs exposure if it's to release it only 4 weeks later with probably no big plans of promo. I don't know why i just don't feel it will come that soon but we'll see.
And yeah i agree with performances on morning or night shows, i'll take any performances wherever it is as long as it's not on the Axis stage  anyway, but i wanted a Vma performance because award performances usually look more spectacular

Honestly I don't believe the single was ever going to come out at the BBMAs. I think Robin fucked that up and then just tried to cover his tracks saying there was a 'technical delay'. What type of technical delay could put off a song that was recorded months ago with a planned video already filmed (which he said was the case.) It just doesn't make sense. I do hope we get a summer release, but as long as the album is great I'm content to wait. The BBMA performance was great and now I'm a month away from my 3rd show in Vegas (first of the revamp!) so I have lots of Britney to hold me over for a while.

Well since the delay turned out to be true I have to assume it's gonna be released when she can have the video reshot. Considering POM, and the time it would take to reshoot and edit the video, then it's probably coming closer to the fall. And that's probably for the best since the album isn't 100% completed, it gives her time to finish and then that means she can just hit the ground running with whatever promo she plans for B9.

I can't help it. I'm so passionate about these kind of things....especially when it comes to Britney & her team, who DESPERATELY need a young/fresh mind, with new perspectives to bring her promotional things new measures.

Though, i do hold some slight home that maybe the single being pushed back means they got an offer from MTV, for the VMA's that they can't refuse.

June, I think. I still believe the summer realease is in their plans. And I'm kinda happy they're taking their time and not rushing things. I'm thirsty for new music, but I really want her to deliver this time, so I don't mind waiting.

 

If only anyone would leak some unreleased tracks in the meantime

looking at how the "technical difficulties" delayed the single and supposedly the video is not even filmed yet. I will say the single will probably could come out late July (which would be a really odd time) and release album early september I guess
