Britney's ICONIC photoshoot by David Lachapelle and the start of the her provocative image

I remember when this came out and everyone was going insane. It's also funny because around the time (You Drive Me) Crazy came out, Rolling Stone called Britney a one-hit-wonder in an article... I remember because I asked my dad what that meant (I was like 7 :uhoh:)

Meanwhile, Godney has become one of the most iconic figures in pop music history. It's so rare for an artist to make it on an RS cover during their first era, especially being as young as she was - it'd be interesting to see how many other artists can claim that? I know Gaga had a cover during The Fame era, too.

This shoot shits on entire careers. I remember my parents subscribed to RS and when this came out my mom didn't want me listening to Britney anymore :crying4:

But my love for ha only grew. I remember taking the issue and ripping out the pictures to keep :crying1:
