I know a few people on here have mentioned they have friends/family who work at Planet Hollywood.
I have a friend, who is in Vegas right now, and I asked her to go to PH to ask about Friday's show and getting better tickets (she'll be there), and the guy said it will probably be a somber event as Britney intends on dedicating it to the Orlando victims.

Can anyone else ask around? I'm not saying this is a for sure, but Britney is an LGBT ally/icon, and she has yet to speak about the shootings.

Mama Jocasta, I know you are attending Friday's shows, you should find out - that is, assuming it's not announced.

well there was a shooting over seas a day prior to her next show so she had a moment of silence but I doubt she will do anything since her next show is on the 17th which is kind of  too far along to do anything tbh. Oh yea & Ph doesn't know what Britney is gonna do just saying sis

What would asking PH do tho? I mean, whether or not she says something.... i don't get what asking PH would do?

What would anyone even ask? :zoomzoom: Kinda confused by this thread......

Idk, hahaha I was reaching for the stars.
Maybe they'd have wind of it or something, idk. Lol

I was just hoping to see Britney speak out about all of this :(

britney has so many gay fans, so it'd be awesome if she dedicates this show to them. having everything in rainbow colors and stuff.

Well, idk if i'd go that far, but just Britney taking a moment, maybe when she does perfume, to address everything, and take a moment to honor the victims.

Does she even still do Perfume? I haven't seen one video of that performance since the revamp :omg1:

Perfume? :xf11: That was replaced by the Missy Elliot mix, 4 months ago.

As some other people have said, I don't know why would Britney do that, especially since it's gonna be almost a week by then. Maybe she'll post something tomorrow on her Instagram or other social networks.

And even if she wanted to dedicate the show to the victims, how would PH know that? Also, since the new show started, she has like 2 fractions of a second to talk to the audience before Freakshow and such, so there wouldn't be enough time to give like a full speech or a minute of silence. It would be like 3 seconds of silence.

That thread... Gurl it's britney, maybe she'll do 5 seconds of silence like she did for the paris attack last year but that's all and honestly i would even prefer her to do nothing than those ridiculous seconds because CD of perfume had to be played.

Is the water wet? Gay fan choice to follower her not other way around, it not her obligation to do anything if she doesn't feel like to.

No one is saying she's obligated to do anything. Just saying that it would be nice considering most of her fan base is gay people.

Please, I really don't mean offense... but it sounds like you want her to do the tribute more so for your own liking than anything else. She can do her prayers in private, those count too.... she has her own ways of doing her own, we should respect that.

Well, she's not one of those outspoken artists like Madonna or Gaga, that's why I was so surprised when she talked about the Paris attacks last year, so it wouldn't surprise me if she didn't say anything. She's not forced to do so anyway, we all have different ways to express our mourning, sadness or whatever you want to call it, some people feel like speaking out in public and some people prefer to keep it to themselves, and that's fine! :)
