Today we celebrate the fourth birthday of ‘Oops!…I Did It Again: The Best Of Britney Spears’ album.

Oops! I Did It Again: The Best of Britney Spears is a compilation album of American singer Britney Spears. It was released on June 15, 2012 by Sony Music Camden. The album contains some early singles but is considerably filled with album tracks and bonus tracks from five of her studio albums: …Baby One More Time (1999), Oops!… I Did It Again (2000), Britney (2001), In the Zone (2003) and Circus (2008). The album does not contain tracks from Blackout (2007) or Femme Fatale (2011). Its issuance with no official press release or announcement took both fans and critics by surprise. When fans on Twitter asked about the compilation, global distributor Sony Music stated they had no knowledge of the album. It was not released in the US for unknown reasons. – Wikipedia

I was an official release  just did not go through the right channels - it was released by Sony Camden... LOL!!

But it had some good jams... so it was not a complete flop..  But this is as random as things get!

It isn't official, is it?  I never took it as official tbh. The tracklist is so basic fan-made.  

 

The only thing I love is the cover  That picture is my favorite from the FF photoshoot

I always see copies of it in HMV in Toronto and I want to hide them because it's so cheap and shit

I do have it in my Britney-collection   but I'm pretty sure our queen doesn't know anything about that cd

w/e I love the songs on it. And I actually like My Baby because it's so personal to her, she sings beautifully, and as a mom I can relate. We always want her to get more personal and when she sings about the thing most important to her, the song is widely maligned.

 

And there are some amazing gems on here.

 

That said, it was super random, I actually didn't know it was "official" until fairly recently.
