So Betty Who... ( I actually REALLY liked her first album.. like A LOT!!!) said in this Entertainment Weekly article that one of her new songs she considers a tribute to Britney circa 1999!!! Glad to hear she's a fan!  

She says" Most certainly. There’s a particular song on the record that I’m completely in love with, and it was the one I was going to play at Gov Ball. I am so excited for everybody to hear it because it’s my ode to Britney Spears, but like 1999 Britney Spears"

YES!!! I totally agree!!! She is so under rated it's criminal!! Pretty much every song on her first cd, I could see being played on the radio! I mean flawless pop production!

I'd LOVE THAT!!! It seems pretty unlikely since Betty is an underground pop artist no where near main stream popularity but hey.. we can dream right?!???
