After the horrible Orlando tragedies (Attack at GLBTQ club Pulse & Christina Grimme) it is nice to see that Artists are not letting this go and are fighting for a change!!! Our queen BRITNEY, and tons of other artists such as Ga Ga, Katy, Selena, Shakira..etc have signed this open letter to congress for gun control!  I LOVE seeing her signature on here! It makes me proud to be a stan for our humble queen who does more than just a status update about the important issues!!! :hug::thumbsup:

SIDE NOTE: Even ADAM LEBER signed :trollney: But no Larry yet.. :orangu:

:yasqueen:I fangirled when I saw Britney's name and signature there :crying5: Stop hate crimes! Stop hate! Live and let live ffs! :icantt:

You don't have to agree or support it, but don't go on and attack it! Be it a religion, a sexual preference, a country's beliefs and so on.

Just move on with it. Let it go.

What is wrong with making guns illegal? It worked for Australia, why would it not work in the US?

Yeah, but that's not what anyone is trying to do in the US, but that's what people who want NO gun control think is gonna happen. And it's prohibiting ANY form of control from moving forward.

When in reality, all those in favor of "gun control" are asking is for a more complete system of background checks, and other, imo, common sense controls.

I don't wanna get in this too deep, I hate debate and this isn't the place for it, but these are scary ass times in the US. I'm more worried about the direction and climate of things now than I was after 9/11.

Agree that this is not the place for debate, but I thin that enough lives have been claimed for this not to start going in a controllable direction. Australian citizens had no choice, UK citizens had no choice - it just got take away and brought the level of violence down - it scares the life out of me to know that something like this can happen again.

I do not live in the US so I really do not have much right to say... but I am part of the human race and I do care when people die unnecessarily.

Guns are not illegal in Australia. They've implemented very strict gun laws and also have a government buy back program. I would love for the US to do the same, but spouting "make guns illegal" is exactly what has the conservative gun movement hell bent on a "no one is taking my guns! 2nd Amendment!" Mentality.

Plus a national ban on guns is not what Britney is advocating, so I feel that hashtag is out of place.
