First off, I'm 28 years old and have been following Britney ever since the BOMT and Sometimes videos came out. When I came out of the closet in 2008, my love for Britney grew even more. The first time I saw her in concert was TCSBS in Detroit. I then saw her at the Boston date of the FFT. When she announced her residency, I was super excited as I live in Phoenix, which is only a quick 45-minute flight away. I saw her NYE 2013 show from the front row of GA which was an amazing experience. I've gone back every 4-6 months since to get my dose of Britney. I was super excited to have the money in my bank account to meet her this Summer, and I'll share my story below.

This being my 9th time seeing Piece of Me I had heard plenty of stories about how fast the M&Gs are. Let me tell you, prepare yourself for the fast speed so you're not offended.

The night starts by meeting in the Axis lobby around 6:30 PM. Once all the M&Gs have arrived, they brought us through security and we met Fe. At this point, it's the M&G fans and the regular VIP fans who have the backstage tour/early access. Fee ran through the night at this point letting us now the schedule of events. We then began our tour by going onto the stage and walking the catwalk. Fe has a checklist of things that she runs through of cute little tidbits of information.   After soaking in the view from the stage we went backstage behind the curtain. It's much smaller than one would think!

Here we got more tidbits of information and got to see different props and the backstage layout. We also went upstairs to the wardrobe room and got to see all the current POM costumes up close.

After the backstage tour, we had a 20-minute break until we were supposed to meet up again for M&G. It was nice to just chill in the theater with no one else around. At around 8:15 pm we went outside where it was 95 degrees. I WAS MELTING. This was my least favorite part of the whole night. Here we got the run down on the Meet & Greet rules. They've had to tighten things up due to the Christina Grimmie incident in Orlando. They made it clear that we're not allowed to touch her (Didn't say you can ask for a hug) and that we had to keep our hands out of our pockets. At this point, I was just trying to keep the sweat dripping down. We then went inside and lined up in a hallway just off of the stage. I was pretty calm at this point (surprisingly) and was ready to get the show on the road. Britney was running a little behind, and Security was getting antsy looking at their phones every 2 minutes. Then it happened... I saw her walk across the stage to the M&G backdrop. SHE WAS WEARING WHITE, AND HER HAIR WAS CURLY - I WAS SO EXCITED.

Here's where the speed picks up, so fasten your seatbelts. The first person was up and you heard Britney laugh so loud (It was so cute). It turns out this was due to a frequent M&G guest who went first. He has tattoos of her on his arm and got two pics. The next 3 M&Gs went very fast, I say in under a minute. All the sudden it was my turn (I couldn't believe how fast it was my turn, I had no time to think!)  I walked up the stairs and turned to the right and there she was. It was the Legendary Miss Britney Spears, The Princess  Queen of Pop, Godney, BRITNEY BITCH. She was so beautiful in her white summer dress. I introduced myself and shook her hand (SHE TOUCHED ME), and we quickly took the picture. They stressed me out a bit with the rules. No invading her space, no touching her, no hands in your pockets, be normal --- Yet Fe is also saying to make sure you're as close as possible, so your pic comes out good.  I honestly don't remember even looking at the camera. I can't tell you what the photographer looked like. I can tell you that Larry was in the room and Robin but the other half a dozen people are a blur.

After the picture, I turned to Britney and asked her if I could say something personal real quick. She said of course, and I won't go into details about what I said, but basically I said thank you for always being there (3-4 sentences) and she said, "Aww thank you, that's so sweet. I hope you enjoy the show." I then said goodnight and started walking away and Britney's assistant, Robin, echoed what Britney said and wished me a good night.

That was it! I then went and got in my spot for GA and the show began about 25 minutes later. She SLAYED of course. Check out my Instagram for more pics/vids: http://instagram.com/heyandrewjoel

I'm very happy I had the opportunity to meet my queen, and I definitely will be purchasing another M&G in the future. If you want to meet her, I suggest you do it. Just be prepared for the speed.

I'm so jealous, but so glad that you had a great time! I completely forgot about the Christina Grimmie thing tbh so it's not surprising that they would tighten security. That had to have all of these celebrities doing M&Gs freaking out.

Thank you for sharing your story! I'm thinking of doing M&G next year when I go back and you really went into details. I'm guessing you can't take pictures from on stage but you can when you are chilling in the theater right?

also do you know what order they do the M&G in?

No you can't take pictures at all during the tour and security is always watching. You can take them when you're just in the theatre waiting. The order is whatever you line up in.
