Something I don't understand about her hair

I know you're going to think this thread is silly and pointless but whatevs 

I don't understand why she's been going back and forth between longer hair and shorter hair. I mean, on May 28 she cut her hair

 

And then on the MV shooting, on June 1, she had longer hair again 

 

On June 15 she cut it again

 

Only to have longer hair again on the POM shows a few days later

 

 

What is going on?

it's the use of extensions and weaves, i'm more worried about the high chance of getting bald spots due to the extensions, weaves and bleaching.

I believe it's her personality... She has a lot of anxious energy all of the time and she gets bored easily, so she likes to play around with her hair, nails and all around style.

 

Is nothing new. The Crossroads movie is full of continuity gags because of her manicure changing constantly throughout production.

 

Same with her hair and outfits (Femme Fatale Tour for the first and Circus Tour for the second).

 

I find it weird too... but hey! Gurl can afford it, and Gurl can get whatever she wants, and she should!

Well she doesn't really cut her hair, she cuts the extensions. britney also has the habit of posting old pics.. If u notice these picture have the same length hair 

 

i think before every show she just adds clip ins over her tape extensions

The "short hair" is her real hair before the extensions and take off all the weaves.

The long hair is after the treatment that full with weaves and extensions.   

 

But Britney needs to stop messing with her hair and let it grow natural.

Ok, I know she's using extensions, I'm not a dummy 

What I think is weird is that she cuts her extensions one day just to have new, long, extensions the other day, and that she's done it many times in the last month. The first time she did it makes sense to me because she had the MV shooting and I'm sure her team would want her to have her signature look for that, but after that she had another haircut (because she did say that she cut her hair again) just to put on longer extensions again. I don't know, it's nothing important, but I just think it's curious that she's been playing so much with the lenght of her hair lately

I don't think that's something to worry about tbh. My sister has been bleaching her hair since she was 16 & she's now 35. Her hair still looks amazing even without her extensions. It just needs proper care. In Britney's case I think her hair has thinned out due to the way she treated it in 07/08. While she was bald she decided to add hair plugs & extensions on top. There was times when she would even glue weaves/fuse extensions to her scalp which is not good & can lead to thinning hair & bald spots like u mentioned.

I think she just adds clip ins over her cut extensions whenever she performs or films something (which is not bad because u can easily remove them with a quick of a snap)

I think she likes her hair short and then when she's performing or something she puts extensions in so she could do hair flips and stuff

I think the real question here should be: How long is her REAL hair?  She's chopped it before, I wonder how long has it grown by now; assuming she's just cut her extensions and not her real hair...

That way she gets to change her looks without cutting her actual hair and she gets to have different looks for her music videos or for her shows and I don't think she buys the super expensive ones.

I actually get it, I'm the same way. My hair is fried from going from blonde to black to back and everywhere in between. Wish I could afford extensions!!!

I have a theory! I think she tends to chop it chin length. A lot of times she has a heavy chin length layer. You can sometimes see it underneath too.

It's probably for damage purposes and to keep it healthy. She likes shorter hair but her job needs her to have long hair. I'm leaning towards just a maintenance thing.

Yeah, she always chops it off  up to her chin. But she's quick to get extensions and rock those iconic hairflips

It's her team, they believe she appeals  to the gp more with long hair, and they prefer her to be blonde for major events that's why she's always blonde and I mean it works I like her with long hair. But I do wish she'd dye it sometimes. It's just her team they believe she will sell more or chart blonde and long.  I believe they even said it a couple times as well.

As a Drag performer I literally do the same thing haha sometimes I change hair in the same show. Luckily for her she look incredible with or without extensions . Perhaps its just her mood?
