Britney's Biggest Competition This Month... Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran

So Major Lazor just announced that they have a new collaboration coming out with Justin, Ed, and Benny Blanco. It's set to drop sometime this month. These are the people that released "Where Are U Now" and "Lean On". They're going to slay the iTunes chart. Ed Sheeran hasn't released new music in a year and all of his last singles slayed.

 

I hope Britney drops ha single first, so at least it gets some time to shine 

I don't really care about the commercial success, but it'd be nice for her to not be cock-blocked by these blokes for at least an iTunes #1.

don't really care about #1 tbh, it's better to be in top5 or something like that for a long time than #1 the first day and then fall like a rock in the charts. I don't think it's coming in July anyway.

Well, it's not like she really has a shot at #1 so I don't think it really makes a difference. But I'd be so happy if she managed to get a Top 10!

Yea it's definitely gonna be tough ..I want her to get a #1 again but it doesn't seem like it will based on the competition right now. Justin Timberlake's song is still going strong and his single is still selling well. Drake is starting to fall so it's a matter of time before Justin Timberlake gets back to that number 1 spot.  If major laser & Britney release at the same time we're all gonna have to go ham (which will be tough since Justin has a lot of fans) I could definitely see a top 10 tho ngl

Yea but even if she enters the top 5,it will fall in the charts the next week too because her songs don't have any longevity on the charts generally.

I'm saying what's the best, not what will happen. I know it will fall, but what i'm saying is that people are always focused on hoping it will be #1 and what could block her while it's not the most important to be #1.

Yea I agree with this,i'll be more than happy if she achieves a top #5 single tho or even a top 10!

Britney is going to face competition no matter what, tbh, this year is jam-packed with releases.  It's a lot like '11 with Femme Fatale and she held her own, I see the same for MM(O)/B9.
