If you expected her to sound exactly the same as Hands on every single song on B9 then you're completely delusional and that is your problem, not Britney or her team's. Hell, why would you even want that? Every Britney album needs a bubblegum track. It's tradition. If her vocals are identical on every track then that'd be boring af. None of her albums are like that so why would she start now?

 

And I don't see why a song in the background of her perfume commercial is going to steal hype away. If anything, it will get people interested and searching for the new music. And most artists nowadays are releasing multiple songs to tease an album anyway.

It's a song from the album. If it's shit, people won't care as much for Make Me Ooh cause it'll be an indication for them of what to expect. Sure, it is only one second but it's still enough to distinguish that her voice sounds like its taken straight out of the Femme Fatale era. Yikes.
