Before We Get Excited Over The Music Video...

Lets think about what artists usually do

 

They usually release the audio video first, then an optional lyric video, and then the music video

 

 

Unless it leaks, I wouldn't be too excited about the video being released on the 15th or whatever date  

 

It could even be a full month before the music video is released

Because people will directly check the music video and give it some streams and generally with the audio it's shit imo

Many artists are already releasing the MV along with the premier of the song because they know how important views are for the current chart system, but yeah, if they're not gonna do it I hope that we at least get the song this week or even next week, because we already have one full minute, they should be scared of it leaking in full HQ!

Actually, if you notice, alot more artists are skipping the audio/lyric video thing. 

Shawn Mendes for example, "Treat You Better" has been available for purchase on iTunes & streaming on Spotify/Apple, for a month now...and he never uploaded an audio/lyric video, and he's just releasing the music video now.

Many others, such as Rihanna, Fifth Harmony, Adele...are all premiering their songs with videos right away.


Imagine if Adele had dropped an audio video for Hello first? 
It wouldn't have had the same impact.

Dropping a lyric / audio video before the actual music video seems to be so 2014 lol
