I can only think of three options:

1. Private Show is indeed a buzz single and they're releasing it ahead of MMO to promote both the album and the perfume, that's why they're not releasing the lead single yet even though half of the song has already leaked.

2. They are clueless and what's really premiering, along with the video, is Make Me (lord, let this be true)

3. They're bored and they decided they wanted to watch this fandom burn some more.

They said the song not video.. But then again it's rumored that Britney's will be dropping 2 videos of private show. A clean version & dirty version. I swear if they drop the song on iTunes before "make me" I'm gonna be so pissed. They're doing "make me" so dirty

Seriously! Her team are a mess, the GP are starting to think that Private Show is her lead single cause several media outlets are reporting it that way

Regular album launch is not a thing anymore... maybe they're actually going for a buzz single before MMO.

 

Wouldn't be the craziest of ideas... and also, not that bad (as long as they make sure that MMO stops leaking altogether like)

I think the idea is Brilliant , release a track that goes with her new Perfume which comes out in 11 days , Also it will be a buzz that a new Britney song is out . Even if the GP doesn't like the song they will still look over to MMO when it drops .

 I see what they are doing and it rlly isn't a dumb idea.

Releasing a buzz single can be a good idea, but they also have to be very careful and make it very clear that Make Me is the real lead single by promoting it extra hard when it comes out!
