I know you all was worried about him being new and being FT on Brit lead single but he actually brings something to the table!

 

I love his verse it relates to the song & this is her best song with a rapper excluding Boom Boom & T.I verse on TTB (awful song but he went in)

I think it's good! I like the way he compliments the sexiness of the song by suggesting that he want's to MAKE HER...  He also name drops Vegas.. wonder if her team put him up to that!!

I don't hate it but I don't like it. It's just kind of there for me. At least it doesn't distract from the song.

He was good. He actually made the song "complete" in the sense that Britney speaks from her POV and he does as well.

 

Just to give an example of what I mean: Nicki tends to rap shit about herself on someone else's song. "I'm the queen of rap" "you was hot when? Ricki Lake [talking shit about Lil' Kim]" and shit like that. It has no relation to the actual song whatsoever. Or Ludacris' verse on Hands In the Air by Miley; "Ludacris will still be on top..." I mean  We're not here to listen to you brag about yourself, you know?  

 

But G-Eazy played this character Britney is singing about in the song.

She says "...I see you're staring across the room..."

and he goes "...Staring at you 'til I'm caught in this... I'm all jealous, you came with someone...".

 

It's like you get to know both parts instead of just the girl wanting the boy, a la HIAM. He doesn't rap about himself or his carreer. He's there for the song and compliment Britney.

I feel like he was added on as just a filler. She could have done an amazing third verse, added the chorus once more, or filled in the space with a glorious breakdown. Samy just made a solo edit and I enjoy it 1000x more than the original. Britney doesn't even need collabs to be honest. She's an artist who can hold her own which is rare.

It blends well with the song and he doesn't detract from Britney. In comparison to something like Porky Gorillas, where Iggy was all over the track, defacing it.

I'm not a fan of rap at all, but in all honesty it doesn't really destroy the song or anything, it's just kinda there for me  at least the lyrics are good and not a rapper talking about basic b**ches in the club they're trying to bang

At the first listen my boyfriend said

 

"Wow I really like this song and I haven't heard all of it. It makes me want to buy it on iTunes like GM did. That rapper sounds good his voice kinda reminds me of Drake"

I like it, and it also seems like he being on the track could be bringing some extra attention from people that generally wouldn't check for a Britney song, which is always a good thing!
