Also Britney is 20 years into her career, Katy Perry is relatively new to the industry in comparison. She should be ashamed.

 

Just wait until Brit actually starts promoting and the MV drops. She's in it for the long game trust me. And continue streaming, streaming counts more than sales these days.

Reading this thread has really made things calm down for me - not that I was THAT upset over Katy (ok, maybe a little )

 

Britney FLEW to No. 1 with just all the hype, and Katy promo'd her behind off plus dominates iTunes banners rn so it's understandable. With radio plays and streams, we'll make up for the missing sales. We do need to keep this euphoria going, no other artist can take that away!

Can we appreciate the fact that Britney is being the competition of one of the biggest sellers in the pop industry? Like, I don't care that she's number 2 now because the fact that she snatched the number 1 spot for hours is impressive enough!

I like how she's trying to prove how down she is by using stan language, giving me "This is How We Do" teas.  Plus this doesn't even make sense.
