90k is actually good for no promo (except from the britney army) etc. i mean katys ugly banner is like everywhere, but britney? she slays without rubbing her (beautiful) cover in your face everywhere.

I think this is great for a person who did zero promotion what so ever .. Not even 1 radio interview. Katy did a lot of promotion in just 1 day & still managed to get a prediction of 130 & so did Sia (which is not far from Britney) so with all that promotion that they did it's kinda sad that that's all they got. Also Britney is doing amazing when it comes down to streaming which in Katy's case it's not so good . So with Britney she's predicted to make a debut of 90k & also she should be getting about 20-30k for streaming so that would put her past the 100k category

By the way, sale are decline these day....The album can debut no.1 with just around 70K can tell how bad the industry is......Streaming is the new way to go. Also I am looking at longevity rather than debut high then falling fast.

Sis if u have a Twitter account & or watch tv u would know she did a lot of promo in just 1 day . Prior to the release she had multiple "rise" wordings written across the Sky , buildings, & logos at time square.. She also stood up all night & morning getting her fans to buy the song so they can knock off Britney & on top of that she did an interview with the today show regarding the single & ALSO released a video for it for the olympics. She also let her fans know she's going to release another video with her included. She also used the Kim k Taylor feud to promote her single.  Britney was the one that tweeted a few times and that's it.  Katy is trying to knock Britney off so bad . I bet u Katy is waiting for Britney to release her video so that she release hers
