I mean, at least we know the explicit version would leak sooner than later because it is already leaking But still, I want it to be the official one! And I want it to premiere before it gets completely leaked My heart can't handle another Work Bitch fiasco 1
Term of Endearment Posted July 18, 2016 #2 Report Posted July 18, 2016 Why is everyone stressing - I am sure if it leaks - team B will rush release it - it will not really harm having it released early since the song is out now - if anything it will help with sales. If she felt it was too raunchy she probably would not have done it in the first place. Perfume was most likely stopped by her team as they saw it as promoting or glamorizing gun violence - the only reason why I can see them changing the video is if VEVO wants to restrict it. Other than that she has always had a sexual vibe ala Toxic ala Slave.. They probably have a strategy in place - but do not stress about it - you guys worry about things out of your control too much - just let them do what they have planned and see what we have in store.. 2

Besides the obvious advantages of this, I think it leads the dirty version to get a lot more views. When you hear an artist created TWO videos because one was so explicit, you HAVE to watch the dirty one to see what was so bad. And then you'll probably watch the "tame" one, too. Thats what I did with Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke... 1
I_need_me Posted July 18, 2016 #5 Report Posted July 18, 2016 I don't think she's gonna scrap the video, she seems really comfortable with being sexual, the only problem would be the video leaking, but I read a post from a person that has the video and he said that the leakers don't have the full final MV, but unedited raw scenes, so if that's true I don't think we have to worry about that!

Work Bitch begs to differ. Perfume is understandable. That's why I didn't mention it. I'm not really stressing out about it. I'm just hoping they actually get things done on schedule ahead of the hackers. All of the eras have suffered leaks, and I really want this one to be different.

IF and only IF they don't have the full video, then these little leaks are actually good Because they're like little teasers to pump us and hype us for the real thing

Once the video is done in full Britney has to meet with the director to see whether she likes it or not & that's when the editing happens. The thing is the video is already completed and out there. Did u not see the video of Perez having the video in full? That's where all the screen caps are coming from so it's obviously not getting scrapped. I think they're just waiting for the perfect moment to hit us with it tbh. the key here is longevity, if she releases everything too close together then the song wouldn't last in the charts. I think they're slowing wanting to build it up. I think we will probably get it this Friday 1
