I read No. 17 on a different music forum. If it's true, I was hoping for top 10, but this could be different than previous singles. I think this might actually win over the public with all the radio adds and streaming, I hope this will continue to grow! All I want is top 10!

It's a prediction. Very accurate prediction.

I'm 100% sure that it;s going to peak higher later, it's already doing great on streaming and radio, increasing every day.

That's not a bad debut considering we haven't even gotten the music video yet! The lyrics video already had over 8 million views! People like the song!! I definitely think it's a grower! It's doing better on radio and streaming every day! Just keep streaming and spreading the word!! We're going to get longevity from this song!

Hopefully this won't be like her latest releases and it'll go higher with time instead of free falling after debuting! I do think that Make Me has a chance of being a grower, the initial response has been great so once the video is out, she starts promoting and the streaming/radio starts making a difference it'll get bigger!

Well I heard 17 tbh .. But whether it's 17-19 that's still good considering she did 0 promo for it. I mean she didn't even do any radio interviews like she usually does.  It's cant even compare to Katy's tbh considering Katy actually did a shit load of promo in just 1 day alone. Britney still has a video coming so it may not see the top spot with the debut but she will definitely see the top spot after she releases the video and promotes it

Dont know how/why y'all expected something higher knowing there has been no promo yet, no MV and sales are decreasing.

So far the song seem to have a better reception for the GP -even the fans- than anything she released the past years (even the radio seem to like it more unlike WB or worse PG, at least in my country),  it will be better once the video is out and IF she decides to promote.

I'm gonna have to disagree with this tbh. "Make me" actually held on to the top spot longer than what work bitch & pg did. She just fell out of the top spot just yesterday. free falling is when she's literally falling drastically fast but she's actually at #14. With pg it was already near the 30s around this time. Let's not forget Britney also did 0 promo whatsoever so for her to hold on that long is great. Also she's doing quite good when it comes down to streams and radio. "Make me" is the number one song added to radio & plus she has the GP going crazy & praising it. All she has to do is promote it once to push it out there and I'm positive she will have it in the top spot. Make me is definitely a grower and has a huge chance

Yeah, I know this single hasn't free fallen, I was talking about her other recent releases like WB and Pretty Girls,  which got their peak position on the charts on their debut week and after that they just started to get lower and lower! I was saying that Make Me has a possibility of rising on the charts on the following weeks

Well with work bitch & pg the GP , media & radio wasn't feeling the songs at all what so ever that's exactly why they did poorly. In this case the GP, Radio , & critics (MM got critical acclaim) love it & is the #1 most added song on radio so instead of it being lower it definitely will

rise. Once Britney releases the video & promotes it, it will definitely see top 10

17 was the initial prediction. After the song's disastrous performance they lowered the prediction to 19 and it was only corrected on Tuesday. By Friday, I wouldn't be surprised if the song is out of the Top 20 on the Hot 100. It's probably gonna be between #20-23.

And you never know, the videos always seem to have little to none impact on digital sales. Sure, they give her a massive boost to streaming (hence why Work Bitch rebounded for a week after the video release) but digital sales don't seem to increase much. If the song continues to fall on iTunes, the radio will stop supporting it (I don't think anyone realises how tragic the rolling effect will be next week on the radio) and the music video will only allow the song to rebound/reach a slightly higher peak but nothing impressive. Either way, it's all gonna be a massacre once the charts update. Those hoping for a Top 10 peak (not to even mention a debut) are in for a disappointment.

Except it is freefalling. If the song had stabilised in the Top 10, that would amazing. But it has been getting constant red/dark red updates for the past two-three days. Sure, it's not decreasing as fast as Pretty Girls did but it is falling with every hour so if that's not a definition of free-falling to you then I don't know what is.

As good as it sounds on paper, we can't use this "it's the #1 most added song!!!" as the receipt for everything. It's impressive, sure, but this hardly means that the song will smash. For the love of God, even Pretty Girls was the #1 most added song on the radio in its first week! Work Bitch was the second most added only due to really heavy competition at the time (it fell behind Wrecking Ball). Don't act like Make Me is her first single ever to be added like that.

And before people jump at me for being negative or hateful, I'm not. I really like the song and I'm happy she finally delivered some quality material! But I think we need to move on and stop acting like Britney is a chart-force at this point in time. The song's only chance to succeed on the chart was in its debut week and her team completely wasted this opportunity by not releasing the video with the song. I think it's just easier to acknowledge that the song won't make it past Top 15 than stay hopeful and be disappointed later on.

Don't start drama when we don"t one.Debuting at top 20(perhaps) is very good and will give extra publicity. Also the video hasn't been out yet.People don't get that this song is something different that her previous work and it will charts differently as well.I am pretty sure when the video comes it will hit top 10 cause of the views and the radio, but slowly.

"Having been released Friday, "Make Me" isn't likely to debut on the new, July 30-dated Billboard Hot 100, the top 10 of which will be announced tomorrow (first on Periscope; follow @billboard to be notified of when Trevor Anderson and I will count down the top 10 and chat with you, as always on Mondays #endofshamelessplug).

But, following a full first week of sales and streaming (ending July 21), "Make Me" should blast onto the Aug. 6-dated Hot 100, whose top 10 will be revealed a week from tomorrow, on Monday, July 25. It could arrive as Spears' first top 10 since early 2013, when "Scream & Shout," with will.i.am, reached No. 3"

So in other words it's predicted to be a top 10 hit next week, is what I got from this, because it's release was too late in the week to make it this week?

That was a very, very early prediction. There's absolutely no way it's going to debut in the top 10.

That was three days ago. And right. I was saying that it wasn't going to debut in the top 10, but as of three days ago it's projected to hit the top 10 the next week.

Theres no way it's going to hit Top 10 this week, next week or any week with its current iTunes position. She's about to slide out of the Top 20, lmfao.
