Blackout is the perfect album to listen to in the summertime

You know, I've always said that Blackout is way too overrated by this fandom and I've never listed it as one of my favourites, but today is hot as fuck where I live, and I decided to listen to it and for some reason it's slaying me harder than ever  Maybe it's because this album goes really well with the warm weather, it makes you feel hotter than you already are 

No but really, I have to say that it's incredible that an album released in 2007 still feels fresh in 2016, so I take everything I've said in the past back, Blackout really deserves to be praised. It's a shame that it's so overlooked by the music critics and the GP, I genuinely think that many songs could be potential radio hits nowadays!

I LOVE PRETTY much everything you say here!!!  However, I would edit the title of the thread to say perfect album to listen to ALL YEAR LONG!!! TBH! I don't think it's over rated by the fan base at all.. I mean it's her only album to be inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and the UK recognized it as one of the most important and infulential albums of the decade.. and as you said the songs are still fresh and radio ready almost 10 yrs later.. SO I actually think it's crazy that anyone can dispute it as her best..lol. That being said I understand the dedication many fans have towards ITZ, Britney, FF..etc. Had the era of BO been more like ITZ era I think there would be no disputing BO as her obvious BEST.. just my 2 cents tho..  Glad you're having a great summer jamming out to GodOut!!!

Also Britney Jean is a Winter album for me , Besides one or two Will.I.Am Tracks I do find BJ a bit under rated

He was kind of like a summer fling, hot and heavy through that april rain, may and June he was after me and by July it was getting hypnotic.  Tell me what ur sippin on! The bonus tracks slay even harder. Hands down BO is my favorite album of all time.
