Why wasn't Gimme More 2.0 Used in the BBMA show?
 

ITS SO  FLAWLESS!!! She needs to perform it to bring justice to 2007 VMAney!!

Gimme More is by far the worst choreography/stage routine of the  whole show.
It's choreography is awful, and she is never timed right with the dancers. It's a mess routine I do not want the world to see.

I think it's also to do with the negativity surrounding her during that era...this performance was supposed to remind people why they loved her, from the awesome dancing to the iconic + catchy songs. Putting Gimme More in would remind people of the negativity of that era, which Britney is still trying to move away from. She's fine to do it at POM because its fans there, but this was a globally-broadcast performance and she needed to make sure people remembered her for positive reasons.

I just didn't get why ILRNR got picked out of ALL the songs she has.  but now i understand why GM wasn't there. Makes sense.

Probably because ILRAR had a big sey with the gitar and speakers made the performance look a bit more elebrate

they probably chose ILRNR because of all the covers she has done, it's the one where most people probably know the words, plus she probably just wanted to dance on the guitar.

This was a moment I wouldn't have changed and glad happened.  

 

I definitely agree about "Gimme More," but I would have replaced either BOM or TOMH.

Omg, I cringe watching the GM choreo. I don't hate it, it's not my fave, but why is her timing so off during that routine?!?!?! It's so bad.

I loved TOMh tho, you cant do BOM wihout TOMH  she shouldve replace ILRR since it flopped on the charts and was a cover 

 

EDIT: i forgot about the guitar  she should've made a mini mashup of TOMH and Breathe on me and added GM

Britney has a tendency to lip the spoken ad libs as well as the sung parts at the same time and also not mouth sing the riffs in GM. 

If she did that at the BBMA's their would've been no chance of fooling the GP bout her lip-synching. They just about pulled it off with the pre-recs on Work Bitch and Toxic.

 

It's not like she would've done pre-recs either for Gimme More. will.i.flop couldn't even get her to say 'It's Britney Bitch' for S&S. 

 

I 100% want the GP to see her slaying that song but not unless its absolutely perfect.
