...because they are waiting for the album to drop and do it all at the same time? I really think Make Me wasn't supposed to debut when it did, but they released the song because of the potential leaks. Maybe that's why we've had no promo yet and the video hasn't been released.

 

I believe the original concept for the video is the one she's talking about in her recent interview. There were lots of guys almost naked, and no girls. And there were parts were you could tell it was actually a videoshoot or an audition inside the video (you could hear the director or whoever saying 'cut' and stuff like that)

 

Anyway, let's wait and try to be positive, y'all. Let's not make a desert fiasco 2.0 out of this and ruin B9 release

We wouldn't be the ones ruining B9's release, we don't have that power. It would be Britney's team that's responsible if B9's release is ruined, but God forbid anyone even dare to question or criticize those geniuses

Yeah, for now we just have to be patient and enjoy the song, I mean, we've been waiting for her to drop the lead single of B9 for years and many people just forgot about it a week after its release, it's beyond me! it's like paying attention to some drama is more important that listening to your fave's new song

I doubt it was planned to be released with the album, but i agree that Make Me release may have been rushed hence why we don't have the video and lot of promo yet. It's probably coming this month before the next vegas leg starts.

Lol a few people on Universe are not capable of ruining the release of a Britney song or album, even if we wanted to. And I don't think anyone actually is blaming or accusing Britney of anything in the slightest, let alone "abusing" or attacking her. People are rightfully upset about how unnecessarily messy this is

If we weren't such an obsessive fan base trying to get leaks and pics and everything then we would know nothing about this...

And all I'm saying is that all of the negativity is ruining the release for those of us who have realistic expectations for release dates etc

I feel ya, I was getting really frustrated at the meltdowns and Britney bashing. Honestly, I'm not trying to be preachy here, just saying what worked for me- I took a step back and reframed and I feel much better about everything, the shitposts and whining don't irk me as much. Try not to let the hater/fan hybrids get you down.

Universe is definitely a bright and shiny spot in the fandom right now...I can't believe some of the things said on "other" sites about Britney, who we are supposed to love. It was really bumming me out for a while, so I took a break lol

I had listened to it SOOO much at first that I stopped streaming it for a while  and then I heard it on the radio and literally teared up. The local Top 40 station plays it a lot and Tweets love for it, so I'm very optimistic about the single's future. And her recent radio interviews are SO GOOD. It's all coming together, I can feel it!
