I don't know how to feel about the release date. If they're intending to surprise-release the album, the greek club just ruined it for us

But on the other hand, I know I don't have to wait until December to have that masterpiece in my hands!  

I guess I'll just have to wait and see.....

There's some huge country band releasing their album on the 26th and they pulled 180K first week with their last record so Britney can say goodbye to being #1 if that's true.

And she's being featured on MTV Hits Takeover which they usually only do if the artist is going to perform at one of their shows, or they have some other exclusive!!! I'm not going to get my hopes up.. but OMG a VMA performance would SLAY my life for YEARS!!!!!

Is it just me or is Katy's martyr complex almost as bad as Taylor's? js 

I actually really enjoy some of both their music and I've tried so hard to stan for Katy because I like her aesthetic and I felt the Wide Awake video on a spiritual level. But I feel like she's always singing and acting like these terrible things happen to her when they're really kinda just everyday bummers and she's really generally lucky and successful. 

I feel like she wrote Rise in response to Taylor's Bad Blood video. I don't think BB did anything to tarnish Katy's image, I think it made Taylor look try-hard (although I lowkey love that video). Yet Katy feels like Taylor has profited "unmeasurable" at her expense.

 

Off track I know, but Katy needs to pull herself together and get back to things like Dark Horse and Teenage Dream and the like, and stop trying to pretend her new song is about global suffering when it most likely isn't.
