For #B9/"Glory" Would You Rather...

  1. 1. Have 1 or 2 killer songs on the album, like "Toxic" next level or a solid set of songs that mature Britney's sound?

    • I need another Toxic. I want her to transform the sound of current pop music.
    • I want her to get more respect in the industry. Grammy's/Magazine's and reviewers raving about "Glory"
  2. 2. Have Critically Acclaim or Commercial Success?

    • I don't care about sales, I want to see "Glory" on the best of 2016 lists at the end of the year - and possibly win Britney a grammy.
    • I want to see her go multi-platinum and get a #1 album/single.
  3. 3. See Britney do an endless barrage of promotion for the record? Or See her Open/Close the VMA's with a show-stopping performance

    • I want her to take back the VMA's from this basics
    • I don't care about the VMA's Britney needs to be on magazine covers and do loads of interviews/performances on talk shows this time around.

These are my choices, but honestly I'd be happy with anything you listed, all the options are pretty good :bomt:

I'm very excited for "Glory" - the title could be a blessing or curse though because it carries the weight of expectation with it.

I feel like the VMAs would be a huge win for her. I don't think she likes her face all over mags or doing endless interviews but I think the VMAs would really feel good to her on a spiritual level.

Although this would be a really cool time for an in depth Vanity Fair article where she digs really deep and speaks really candidly. I would imagine part of her would like her story told.

Im mostly in it for the artistry, don't care about charts although I take it personally when she doesn't do as well as I think she should lol. I don't think badly about Brit when that happens, usually I rage against the pop music machine

OK I HAVE A LOT TO SAY ABOUT THIS ONE.. AND I'M JUST GONNA SPILL THE TEA HOW I SEE IT!!! :queenflopga::dealwithit:

1. I definitely want some big hits like Toxic but with her new sound!!! I really don't give a rat's ass about a Grammy! Britney has enough respect in the industry without grammys! Which leads to my feelings on the next question..

2. I don't care about sales or critical acclaim because I'm a true stan, HOWEVER at this point in her career she could definitely benefit from commercial success way way way more than critical acclaim!!! She needs good sales and chart toppers if she wants to continue to get a healthy A&R budget from her label for her future projects so that she can work with the level of talent that her fan base (US!!!) are accustom to with a Britney record!:queenflopga:  We are just a lucky and blessed fan base like that!! :crying1:Let's be honest.. Britney records are amazing and better quality than 90 % of other pop acts because she always gets great songs and a great A&R budget!!!! Also her albums are almost always in the middle to high for critics! She never gets a low grade and she never gets an A+ (except BO) but she always gets a decent grade! I mean Entertainment Weekly and Rolling stone even gave BJ (which even stans have incorrectly dragged) a B+/ 3.5/5!!!!:umomg::nowaygif:So I'm not worried about the critics! If she has big hits every few eras because of her young age and huge catalog she will retain even more industry relevancy than Madonna has managed to! And that's really the end goal for me! I want Britney to still be dancing til the world ends and slaying us when she's in her late 50's  and 60's like Madonna does!

3. I'm torn on this one because I want BOTH!! However, if I'm being honest.. I want that VMA slayage SOOOO BAD!! I want her to come and snatch it back, and protect her VMA legacy! When they play clip shows of her VMA performances.. we NEED one that slays that is post "Gimme More"!!!! :mhm: I think that if she pulled off a legendary VMA comeback performance (especially that close to her album release date) that she wouldn't need a bunch of magazine covers, talk shows..etc. But fingers crossed that we'll get BOTH!!!
