im loving it. i should had made the hair better too. that makes a lot :/

I try to take my time with it. I put it down and come back to it.

Yours looks a lot like some of the stuff ive drawn in the past. And its a thousand times better than where I started.   :)

Keep plugging. Something I like to do is go on deviantart and look at the details other people caught that Ive missed. I used to not notice the lower lash line or subtle shading in the eye etc etc.

I vary it up. Sometimes I like the simple look sometimes more detailed.

Seriously though, I can recognize Britney in your drawing, and that can be tough. Ive also been drawing for 10 years off and on.

Tombo eraser pencils are amazing too! I actually take a razor blade and cut the eraser into a finer point to make very small shading like the white hairs using negative space. :D

stick with it, youve got a lot of talent.

Sounds like me. I used to draw them quick too, then I started realizing details and id take longer. I still draw off and on going spurts without drawing lol I found some older pictures though :)

nice tutorial and drawing but I'm not a big fan of bluring too (don't get me wrong, your picture is really cool but usually I don't like it)  it's a great tutorial for the beginners tho  <3
